Steve Behling, born October 7, 1968,[1] is an American author[2] who has been a Star Wars fan since he was a child.[3] Behling's first contribution to the Star Wars franchise was authoring two illustrated stories in the 2018 anthology Galactic Adventures Storybook Collection, both of which adapt previously published issues from series by Marvel Comics.[4] Behling's first story, "Darth Maul and the Rathtars," adapts the events of the first issue of the comic book miniseries Star Wars: Darth Maul, which was written by Cullen Bunn[5] and originally released on February 1, 2017.[6] "Lando's Big Score," Behling's second short story, adapts the events of the first and second issues of the comic book miniseries Star Wars: Lando. The issues were written by Charles Soule[7] and released on July 5[8] and August 12 of 2015, respectively.[9] The artwork for both stories in Galactic Adventures Storybook Collection was done by TomatoFarm.[4]

For The Mandalorian publishing program, Behling authored The Mandalorian Sticker Art Puzzles, a 2021 children's story and activity book adapting events from[10] the 2019[11] first season[10] and 2020[12] second season of the Disney+ series Star Wars: The Mandalorian.[10] Behling created one-page summaries of each episode of the series, with concept art and quotations accenting the text.[13] The author also wrote the all-ages digital comic Star Wars: My First Comic Reader 1, which was illustrated by Riccardo Torti and released on December 21, 2022, for the OverDrive library service.[14]
