Steve Behling (born October 7, 1968) is an American author, editor, and creative consultant. For the Star Wars franchise, Behling authored short stories for the anthology Galactic Adventures Storybook Collection and an activity book, Star Wars: The Mandalorian Sticker Art Puzzles.
Biography[]
Steve Behling, born October 7, 1968,[1] is an American author, editor, and creative consultant.[2] Behling's first contribution to the Star Wars franchise was authoring two illustrated stories in the anthology Galactic Adventures Storybook Collection, published by Disney–Lucasfilm Press[3] on October 2, 2018.[4] Both stories in the anthology adapt previously published issues from series by Marvel Comics.[3] Behling's first story, "Darth Maul and the Rathtars," adapts the events of the first issue of[5] the 2017[6] comic miniseries, Star Wars: Darth Maul by Cullen Bunn.[5] "Lando's Big Score," Behling's second short story, adapts the events of the first and second issues of[7] the 2015[8] comic miniseries Star Wars: Lando by Charles Soule.[7] Both short stories were illustrated by TomatoFarm.[3] An unabridged audiobook adaptation featuring Behling's stories was published on March 1, 2023.[9]
For publisher Thunder Bay Press, Behling authored Star Wars: The Mandalorian Sticker Art Puzzles, a children's story and activity book adapting events from the 2019 first season[10] and 2020[11] second season of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian.[12] The title was published on September 7, 2021 as part of The Mandalorian publishing program.[13] Behling wrote one-page summaries of each episode of the series, with concept art and quotations accenting the text.[12]
