The stillsail was a type of membranous creature that lived in the Stratos Distribution, a vast Unknown Regions corridor of dust, asteroids made up of ice and mineral-rich rock, and forests of crystalline comet fronds. The stillsails measured more than a hundred thousand kilometers across, and they shared their habitat with predatory lightning-jacks and asteroid-burrowing wormlike chewers, the latter of which were evolutionarily related to the sentient Lugubraa species that also originated in the Stratos Distribution.[1]
