Strotta was a red-eyed Jawa from Arvala-7,[1] a muddy planet where Jawas from the planet Tatooine had settled.[2] During the First Order occupation of the planet Batuu[1] in 34 ABY,[3] there was a 375-credit bounty on Strotta for property damage, evading arrest, stealing from the scrapyard of Savi[1]—proprietor of Savi & Son Salvage[4]—and trespassing in Smuggler's Alley,[1] an area of Black Spire Outpost on Batuu that required permission from the crime lord Oga Garra to enter.[5]
Wearing a hooded robe and gloves, Strotta hid in one of the buildings of the outpost, but the Jawa's location was discovered by an outpost visitor using a thermal scanner. The visitor, who had been assigned Strotta's bounty by the Bounty Hunters' Guild, then reported the Jawa's location back to the local Guildmaster's Hideout in order to collect the reward.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Strotta appeared as part of Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters, an augmented-reality video game launched at Walt Disney World[1] on July 27, 2022.[6] The image used to represent Strotta[1] is a reused promotional image of the Jawa Chettkap,[2] who appeared in Chapter 2 of the Disney+ television series The Mandalorian,[7] which aired on November 15, 2019.[8]
