Sulon was one of the two moons of the planet Sullust, and was located in the Sullust sector's[1] Sullust system in both the Outer Rim Territories[1] and Western Reaches regions.[2] Located at the coordinates M-17 on the Standard Galactic Grid,[4] the moon was part of the Incisor Sidestep,[5] Rimma Trade Route[4] and Sanctuary Pipeline hyperspace routes.[6] Sulon lacked the volcanic activity of Sullust and so was colonized by the planet's sentient Sullustans, who turned it into a farming center in order to provide some much-needed to variety to the diet of the species.[1]
