The Sundari Historical Preservation Association was an organization that partnered with historian Eloc Throno to author Mandalorian Battlefield Tours, a book regarding the Mandalorians,[1] a group of warriors.[2] Throno mentioned the book, along with its co-author, in his Traveler's Guide to Batuu,[1] which was published in 34 ABY.[3] The group shared its name with Sundari,[1] the capital city of the world of Mandalore.[4]

Behind the scenes[]

The Sundari Historical Preservation Association was introduced in the 2020 reference book Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Traveler's Guide to Batuu, which was written by Cole Horton.[1]

  3. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Traveler's Guide to Batuu establishes that the in-universe book was published at the same time as when the First Order was searching for the Resistance base on Batuu. As that search occurs in Galaxy's Edge: Black Spire, which is set in 34 ABY according to the reasoning here, the cookbook must have been published in 34 ABY.
