- "The Chancellor of the Galactic Republic, Lina Soh, has come to Corellia…and it's our job to keep her safe. Her regular security team doesn't know the streets, the inner workings of Coronet City, the ins and outs of our particular Corellian brand of chaos."
- ―Alys Ongwa
Supreme Coronet City Diplomat Protection,[2] nicknamed Crash's crew,[3] was a security crew that operated out of Coronet City on Corellia and was led by the bodyguard Alys "Crash" Ongwa during the High Republic Era. It was previously led by Alys' mother, Baynoo Ongwa, before she retired and gave the business to Alys. Members included Barchibar, Fezzonk, Ovarto Bitolo-Bash, Prybolt Garavult, Tangor, Smeemarm, Tamo, and Ongwa's droid 10-K8.[2] When Supreme Chancellor Lina Soh visited Corellia, Ongwa's crew was tasked with protecting her.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Supreme Coronet City Diplomat Protection first appeared in "Crash and the Crew Do What They Do," a short story within the pages of the annual issue of the comic series Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures which was written by Daniel José Older, illustrated by Jesse Lonergan, and published by IDW Publishing[1] on December 15, 2021.[4] The crew was later identified by name in the 2022 young-adult novel The High Republic: Midnight Horizon, also written by Older.[2]
