Swift Liberty was a New Republic Victory II-class Star Destroyer commanded by Admiral Areta Bell and was often paired with the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Moonshadow. Lieutenant Cyslo was the helmsman for the Swift Liberty, while Commander Tal'kina served as the sensor officer.[1]
Swift Liberty participated in the New Republic attack of Liinade III, a planet from Prince-Admiral Delak Krennel's Ciutric Hegemony. With the help of the Freedom, another Imperial II-class Star Destroyer, Swift Liberty hammered the Krennel's Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Direption into a manageable state allowing New Republic veteran starfighter squadron Rogue Squadron to safely head toward their ground targets.[1]
