Symphony in the Stars later known as Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular, was a Star Wars-themed fireworks display shown at various times at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park.[1][2]
History ‡[]
Symphony in the Stars was first shown as part of the Last Tour to Endor event held on August 18, 2010.[1] Star Wars characters presented a large fireworks display featuring John Williams' original music, with voices and sound effects from the Star Wars saga.[2] Versions of the show later appeared during other Star Wars-themed events at the theme park, including the Star Wars Weekends of 2014 and 2015.[2] It then began a regular run at the park from December 18, 2015 to June, 2016 under the new name Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular.[3] This version was updated to include elements from Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens.[4]
This show was replaced by the new Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks show, which debuted at Disney's Hollywood Studios June 17, 2016.[3]
