- "Is it true you killed a Jedi?"
- ―Syreth Dunn to Osha Aniseya
Syreth Dunn was a human slicer.[3] In 132 BBY,[4] Dunn and his crew were detained by the Detention Task Force in the Corporate Sector and were being transported on the prison transport Palwick.[3] After watching another convict be subdued by a Dybbuk, a parasitic organism, the convict conversed with the meknek Osha Aniseya regarding an escape attempt[1] he[2] and the other convicts were planning. During the escape attempt, Aniseya asked for the convict to free her, to which the convict laughed at her and escaped alongside others. The convict was later arrested by the Jedi Order and detained in a cell on the planet Coruscant.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Syreth Dunn first appeared in the first episode of the live-action television series The Acolyte, which was released on June 4, 2024 on Disney+,[5] and was portrayed by Thomas Coombes.[1] The character's name was first identified in a preview for the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, written by Pablo Hidalgo.[3]
