The T'zaki were a species of sentient insectoids that shared a[1] unified consciousness[2] in the form of a hive mind. By the time of the Republic Era, T'zaki culture more readily accepted slavery compared to many human cultures.[1] In 40 BBY,[3] the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn theorized that the species' acceptance of the practice could be because T'zaki language roughly translated the term for freedom to mean having no purpose.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
T'zaki was mentioned in Master & Apprentice, a 2019 novel written by Claudia Gray.[1]
