T-SP was a Utility Tug in use by a Rebel Alliance outpost during the Galactic Civil War within an Imperial simulation. During an Imperial torpedo attack by Alpha Squadron TIE Bombers, T-SP attempted to board one of the Class-A cargo containers along with fellow Utility Tug T-ST. However, while trying to board the containers, the two utility tugs were destroyed along with the rest of the outpost's complement.
The simulation was featured in the Imperial combat training simulator, where TIE Bomber pilots could test their skills with the torpedo warhead. T-SP had a hull with a 5 RU rating, gray plating and yellow-and-black stripes. It had a speed of 10 MGLT, and was crewed by a single pilot.
Behind the scenes
T-ST first appeared in Star Wars: TIE Fighter, a 1994 video game developed by Totally Games. The ship is featured in the third combat chamber mission of the TIE Bomber, titled "Torpedo Run," during which a squadron of TIE Bombers is assigned to attack a small outpost operated by the Rebel Alliance. Optionally, the player could inspect T-SP to achieve a bonus goal.
