The TDA-series droid assistant was a model of protocol droid[1] with a humanoid frame. A number of modified TDA-series droid assistants were utilized command bridge droids to crew the command bridge of the Colossus,[2] a supertanker fuel depot.[3] 4D-M1N, Captain Imanuel Doza's liaison,[4] was a TDA-series droid assistant, and the Colossus' more basic and pared down command droids answered to her.[5]

TDA-series droid assistants were developed for Star Wars Resistance, first appearing in the episode "The High Tower,"[6] which aired on October 28, 2018,[7]
