A fleet was maintained in Tagge Space by the Tagge Corporation under the command of Lady Domina Tagge from her flagship, the Acquisitor. It contained a number of ships, including dozens of Star Cruisers.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[3] a number of Tagge Corporation employees came to be secretly associated with the criminal syndicate Crimson Dawn, and when Domina's nephew, Ronen Tagge, attempted to assassinate his aunt, the employees turned their ships against the rest of the fleet, and a battle ensued in space between the loyalists to Domina and those who wanted to help Ronen take over control of the company. Ronen's attempt ultimately failed and Domina killed him, and she took back control of the fleet, though the assassination attempt had resulted in the destruction of dozens of their Star Cruisers, and lost them hundreds of employees and millions of credits.[1]
