Taj Junak was a Tapani noble and Jedi Knight of Pelagian bloodline who managed to survive the Great Jedi Purge.
Biography
Taj Junak as professor Shellery Kint
Lord Junak hid from the Empire in the Freeworlds Territory of the Tapani Sector and assumed the guise of Dr. Shellery Kint, a philosophy professor teaching at the Mrlsst Academy on Mrlsst, during the height of the New order. While there, Junak worked behind the scenes to steal or erase important Imperial data from research labs throughout the sector. He managed to keep his identity secret from his fellow teachers and students.
When the Empire moved into Tapani Sector and threatened to take over the Mrlsst Academy, Junak sacrificed himself to save the school. Emperor Palpatine's exterminators captured him in one of the common areas, and burned him on the spot. Ever since, no grass grew in the area, which was walled off as a monument to the late Jedi.
It was rumored that Junak's ghost roamed the Academy grounds, and his legacy was that of the "Ghost Jedi," whose spirit haunted the Mrlsst Academy. This rumor was later used as the basis for the name of the band Ghost Jedi.
