Tak Bazierre was a stormtrooper of the Galactic Empire with the rank of First Sergeant. Like other GeNode clones of his batch, an early one that was eventually discontinued, he was a man with greasy black hair and a face that Corporal Wayson Dower regarded as cruel.[1]
During the Imperial occupation of Kashyyyk, Bazierre was assigned to Janzor's platoon. While en route to their landing site, Bazierre saw that Dower had his helmet off. He ordered the corporal to put it on and identify the alert status that he had just signaled, using the exact phrasings that Dower had just heard from First Sergeant Oswald Strepp, another clone from his batch. When Bazierre walked away, Dower rhetorically asked his friend Milo Strander if the sergeants were half droid.[1]
As the transport approached its landing on Kashyyyk, it struck a thick tree branch that tipped the ship on its side. Bazierre was standing too close to the open door and his gloves, designed for protection rather than grip, interfered with securing a handhold. When he fell from the transport, he landed on a branch that broke his spine and killed him. Bazierre thus became the first Imperial casualty of the battle with the native sentient species, the Wookiees.[1]
