Takari was a small city on the planet Iyuta in the Fakir sector. It was considered to be a resort town, where outrageous prices were charged for lodgings and food. Takari was served by the Iyuta spaceport where docking fees for mediocre facilities was expensive. Several bars were located on The Strip, a section of Vark Street, which catered to off-duty Imperial Marines. The Rusty Bucket bar was situated in Takari, as was The Giant Step which was located on The Strip. An Imperial Communications Center was located just outside Takari, built over an old sewer system.[1]
