Agen has got to be older than that. With the birthdate of 49 BBY he's younger than Obi-Wan! QuentinGeorge 00:51, 2 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Agen only lives THIRTY YEARS! THAT IS NOT COOL!

Duh it never said his time of birth! Where to u people pull out all this info from anyway! Geez Like where did u get the pic of sidious killing him?

big pic

are u taking away from the sith snap shots cause that was one last week!

Agen's lightsaber style

What lightsaber style does he use??? The article states him as someone who 'strikes first, asks questions later' person, so i personally think that agen uses Form V Djem So

General Secura

  • So could i add it?? The 'strike first, ask questions later' sounds like Djem So alright. Master Secura
  • Djem So is when one uses their emotions, so i would agree that it is his Form - --Master Sage 22:39, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
    • Or he could use Form I. Or II. Or III (possibly). Or IV. Or VI (possibly). We can't know--Erl 15:36, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
    • emotions is form I actually ... Jedi Dude 23:31, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
  • he looks to be the physical type to use form V

Actually when he's fighting Quinlan Vos in Republic #54 he's shown using quite a few acrobatics. Also his fighting style strongly resembles Vos's style which is Ataru. And since Ataru is fairly aggresive as well, It's possible that Kolar is a Form IV user. He was also a fluid fighter in the "Show of Force" arc. --Jacenskylo 22:19, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

His Death

I think his DEATH is not fair! Like why didnt he block or do something! I know Sidious is a SITH LORD but hes a JEDI COUNCIL MEMEBER!

  • Agen was unable to block, partly, i read somewhere the shock of everything, and having to face a sith lord....with only four jedi of that generation had done...maybe 5 jedi - --Master Sage 22:40, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
    • Whose death is fair against a Sith Lord? - TopAce 15:26, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

That does make sense. I mean if someone old man sitting in a chair poofed up a lightsaber and did a total of 4 spins in midair, landed and started running at you, do u think you could block? but i was saying he should of died better! he should of like flown back 5 feet or something instead of screaming and falling dead to the ground!

  • It's just a badly edited and choreographed scene.
  • LOL. Sorry to say, but your all wrong. First off, being a Council Member doesn’t place a Jedi Master anywhere near the power of a Dark Lord, not just a Sith Lord, keep that in mind.

Also, the internal mechanics of that fight scene is very subtle and the only people I'd expect to truly understand it are martial artists.

When they walked into that room and drew their lightsabers and Sidious attacked, he actually attacked with such speed (though special effects were not used, so it confuses the lay-people) that he was able to thrust his blade into Kolar's stomach before he could react fast enough. Also, since the Dark Lord was so adept at masking his true presence and intentions within the Force, there was a dark haze around the Jedi as he attacked - making it hard for them to discern his attack and react to it effectively.

All of those scenes were choreographed very well. It's just hard for the uninitiated to truly comprehend them. --The truth hurts... 23:30, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

To be honest, the whole thing feels like an unofficial retcon for what was, essentially, a movie redshirt. Considering his considerable EU history, for him to die like that does boggle the mind a bit, but George has repeatedly and emphatically stated he doesn't read EU when he writes the plot for his movies. Kolar was, according to the EU, probably the most bellicose and least diplomatic member of the group; more than anyone other than Mace, he should have anticipated and been prepared for a nasty fight. But, like Fisto and Tiin, he was still essentially Nameless Jedi #12 in the movie canon. Bantha poodoo to show Palpatine's incredible power. If you want a better explanation, I'd say none of them really believed Anakin or they'd have sent a damn battalion of Knights. ThinePaladin 05:48, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

Agen's Lines

What the hell was he talking about in the novel saying that it didnt hurt? Purpilian

i think he means death doesnt hurt but im not sure!

  • Yes. Palpatine uses the Force to kill him.TIEPilot051999 23:36, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
    • Really??? Because the description sounds like Palpatine pierced Agen's brain with his lightsaber, and thus killing him, and because his brain was damaged, he was clearly talking nuts, how can getting a scorching hot sword through your head not hurt??? Master Secura
      • Palps did not kill him with the Force. He stabs him through the head. Kolars reasons for the line are unclear.--Erl 15:37, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
        • I think he's talking about Saesee Tiin, who's just been decapitated. Kit Fisto cries "Saeesee!", if I recall correctly, and Kolar replies but it killed mid-sentence. --Skarloey 21:53, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
    • no, palps saber flies through his head, from the statue, hes saying it hurts..but nuthin more because his body is shuting down. nuthin to do with the force. Jedi Dude 23:33, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

the blade killed him instantly.

  • Well, Zabrak have high wills and are able to resist pain but I don't think that if someone stuck a lightsaber in you, you would say it doesn't hurt Darth Matas 23:41, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

OMG all of you are dumb. he was saying it doesent. then got stabbed then saying it hurt. he was trying to say something diffrent.Wallyx 20:51, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Geonosis

Anyone knows how he managed to get away from the arena? --Ariakas 12:17, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

  • Gunship presumably, since he's seen in the survivor's circle when Yoda arrives - Kwenn 13:26, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

The article says he tries to strike Palpatine,he didn't try he didn't even move until the saber was in his stomach. I am not going to change it until somone agrees with me.BobafettH23 02:05, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

  • He does indeed escape on a Republic gunship. Look closely in the background when the gunships are touching down. You can see him running for the one in the middle of the screen and get aboard together with Stass Allie and Plo Koon. ~~grobiano~~

Saber De Light

He should have kept his Verte Saber De Light because he ruined himself from going to blue. If he was really a Jedi Master why was he so suprised. Mace Windu got into a defense. Mace should have taken 15 jedi with him.

LET ME PUT AGENS DEATH IN THE NOVELIZATION GEEZ!Wallyx 20:53, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Death and Lines... Again

In the novel he is stabbed through the head (how would he even speak anyway? his face would like melt, and if it somehow didn't, that would have killed him instantly). Not in the films though. So since they were seperate incidents, I don't think he would have said that. He doesn't appear to say anything in the films, although he could have said it on the ground or something. Looking at his face as he collapses though, it doesn't suggest he has much to say. -- Cato Neimoidia 04:38, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Star Wars' Klingon?

Anyone else get the vibe that he's an homage to Star Trek's Klingons? Fierce loyalty, warrior spirit, little need for diplomacy, dark-skinned, untamed, black hair and forehead modifcation...

Padawan's death

There is a behind the scenes picture of Agen checking his Padawan's lifesigns. Should it be added to the article?
