X-Wing Miniatures GameEdit

As part of the eight wave of the X-Wing Miniatures Game, an expansion called X-Wing: Imperial Assault Carrier Expansion Pack will be released. A Legends version of the Imperial version of the Gozanti-class cruiser, it includes Agent Kallus as a crew upgrade. Should we make a Legends version of Kallus' page, or hold off until the switch over like we did with Lothal? - AV-6R7 (talk) 21:52, July 31, 2015 (UTC)

We're going to need an answer very soon. Some new information has just come out for the game, and at the very least three of the TIE fighter-related pilot cards in the set, most likely four since Scourge is apparently a reference to Trel Skutu are Legends-characters. Not to mention apparently he's going to play a role in the new campaign Imperial Crackdown. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 15:30, November 28, 2015 (UTC)

New quote Edit

Given Kallus' newfound allegiance to the rebellion, it might be wise to move the current quote at the top of the article to the "Trapping the Ghost" subsection and finding a new one. - AV-6R7Crew Pit 14:42, December 6, 2016 (UTC)

Fulcrum Edit

We can change Ahsoka also, its kind like Imperial Intelligence organization or the ISB, fulcrum is kind of the rebellion network intelligence, I suppose it would be correct to add Fulcrum to it--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:04, January 4, 2017 (UTC)

  • Fulcrum is more of a title than an organization, if we knew what the organization was called we could add it --Lewisr (talk) 23:06, January 4, 2017 (UTC)
    • I think that at least we could add it, to confirm to which part of the rebellion he was part of. Is kind of an informal organization/informats/network --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:08, January 4, 2017 (UTC)
      • In the Rogue One Visual Guide Cassian Andor has it as an alias, which probably means it isn't an organization as it would have gone under his affiliations if it was an organization, whereas Alliance Intelligence is under his affiliations --Lewisr (talk) 23:14, January 4, 2017 (UTC)
        • I understand your point, Ok then we leave it like that. Thanks --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:17, January 4, 2017 (UTC)

Canon vs. Legends re Images Edit

Somewhat but not entirely related to the X-Wing Miniatures topic, the recently added image of Kallus (File:Agent Kallus AWH.png|right|thumb|250px|Agent Kallus) is from a FF Game source. (Correct me if I'm wrong). Since FF Games are not technically canon, I don't believe that image should be included on a canon page. However, if a separate Legends page were created, it would certainly be appropriate to include it there. I removed the image but the change was reverted, so I wanted to bring the subject up here in case anyone had a counter point. The protocol for canon regarding images is fuzzy, so perhaps this requires some discussion? If it's felt the section requires another image, I'm sure we could easily find a canon replacement. Scole1888 (talk) 19:38, May 8, 2017 (UTC)

  • The general agreement is that FFG products can be treated as canon if the subjects they refer to only appear in canon. So articles like Kallus, BT-1, Shara Bey, Lothal, etc. can use FFG information/images, and no Legends page should be made. It's kind of a case-by-case basis, but since Kallus is strictly a canon character, the image can be used. - Cwedin(talk) 19:47, May 8, 2017 (UTC)

Spoilers Edit

I understand the need for the article to be complete and uncensored but I am very disappointed to see the current version of the article that begins with information from season 4 that hasn't even aired yet.

Also please change (restore?) the article so that the primary image is of Agent Kallus in his imperial uniform.

I understand the introduction will need to include some information about Kallus helping the Rebels but the current version includes a huge amount of spoiler information and goes way too far. -- 00:34, June 12, 2017 (UTC)

  • What exactly is this spoiler information that 'goes too far'? --Lewisr (talk) 00:39, June 12, 2017 (UTC)
    • The trailer has been around 1 month and half, I'm sorry if you don't like to see the trailers but we update the page depending on the information that its released.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 00:57, June 12, 2017 (UTC)

It was never released your source says trailer and also remember in the days before computers you say coloring earors but with computers rarely happen but some times does you can see five dots on his badge but forgot to put red on them And the forgot to alot detail on it but if you look hard you can see it

He is a major general sense he has two rank badges tridtional one the right and officer non general on the left. Did the ever say captain Kallus in the trailers he only said it,s time to get to work.Unsigned comment by Tmnt gundam (talk • contribs).

  • That's why I took the rank out, now please can we stop making changes to it and leave it be until we know more? --Lewisr (talk) 23:25, September 26, 2017 (UTC)
    • The green rank badge on the left side of the screen its visible, the Major rank I could've missed it but there's nothing I can see that says it and the Vice-admiral I don't have idea why you're adding that real life is not a canon source, and fine we take out the rank, but stop adding "real life" information as a In universe source--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:27, September 26, 2017 (UTC)

First Name Edit

According to an interview with Dave Filoni for the Rebels Chat podcast, about three minutes in, he reveals Kallus's first name as Alexander. Should the article be changed to fit this, or should we wait for official confirmation from the show itself? TFJoe (talk) 16:45, July 13, 2017 (UTC)

  • Filoni saying it is confirmation enough --Lewisr (talk) 16:46, July 13, 2017 (UTC)
    • Is this for real, He says that there's a debate about his name and that he think its going to be Alexander, not that is Alexander--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 17:03, July 13, 2017 (UTC)
      • No he explicitly said his first name was Alexander, named after one of the production team --Lewisr (talk) 17:07, July 13, 2017 (UTC)
      • He says "We have debated quite a bit...his first name I think is Alexander" there's no confirmation that the name is actually Akexander. Then he explains that is after a production team member. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 17:10, July 13, 2017 (UTC)
        • He also says so as a little nod to Alex (the team member) I named him Alexander, after one of our production team. Around 5 minutes in is where this is said --Lewisr (talk) 17:16, July 13, 2017 (UTC)
        • I know is the reason why he supports the name. Not why that's the name--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 17:18, July 13, 2017 (UTC)
          • He had Kallus' first name be Alexander as a homage to a production team member, that means his first name is Alexander --Lewisr (talk) 17:25, July 13, 2017 (UTC)
            • Your not understanding my point, but see this tweet from Leland and note the THINKS in caps [1]--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 17:29, July 13, 2017 (UTC)
              • Fair enough then I'll just change it back --Lewisr (talk) 17:33, July 13, 2017 (UTC)
                • I'm sorry, but the "think" is what has me conflicted if its official or not. It could be at the end, but still we don't have a confirmation--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 17:36, July 13, 2017 (UTC)
                  • Don't apologise, I should for being an idiot and not realising --Lewisr (talk) 17:46, July 13, 2017 (UTC)
                    • We should keep it as a redirect, though. - Imperial Information Office AV-6R7Crew Pit 01:14, July 14, 2017 (UTC)
                      • Tracy Cannobbio tweeted a few hours ago saying Leeland Chee had confirmed the spelling as Alexsandr [2]. I am not sure if she is being serious or not as I can't find evidence of this confirmation from Chee, though she doesn't appear to be joking. I thought I'd post it here in case anyone else knew of a confirmation. Scole1888 (talk) 01:35, July 14, 2017 (UTC)
                        • This is going to be trending for a while, I think that its possible that is Alexandr but I think we should wait more for confirmation--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 01:37, July 14, 2017 (UTC)
                          • Update: Leeland Chee himself confirmed Kallus' first name and it's spelling as Alexsandr in this tweet [3]. I think this counts as official confirmation and the page should be updated to reflect it. Thoughts? Scole1888 (talk) 22:57, July 14, 2017 (UTC)
                            • I'm still not convinced that it counts as an official confirmation especially for this case, but I will respect the decision--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:07, July 14, 2017 (UTC)
                              • It's literally a member of the Story Group directly acknowledging it, and Lucasfilm publicist saying that she got acknowledgement from him. Hard to get more official than that! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 23:08, July 14, 2017 (UTC)
                                • Well, first for all Story Group member said THINKS in the first tweet and then its the tweet correcting the spelling, not saying that its the name--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:10, July 14, 2017 (UTC)

He wouldn't correct the spelling if it wasn't the actual name. What would be the point of that? Especially since they know people like Wookieepedia editors watch their Twitter accounts like hawks, waiting to pounce on every little detail. Plus, Leland and the Story Group have a long-standing stance of "we don't change names unnecessarily." - Brandon Rhea(talk) 23:16, July 14, 2017 (UTC)

  • It seems like a safe bet to add the name until we are told otherwise. Regardless, I think we should properly cite the name in the article and add info surrounding the name in the Bts. - Imperial Information Office AV-6R7Crew Pit 23:19, July 14, 2017 (UTC)
    • Absolutely, I'm not against the change. I was just hoping for a more official confirmation--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:25, July 14, 2017 (UTC)
      • I understand. Though if Chee's correction of the spelling isn't confirmation enough, the tweet where Chee says "Kallus is not the first Alexsandr in the Star Wars universe" should be [4]. The key word being IS, as in Kallus IS named Alexsandr. Scole1888 (talk) 23:29, July 14, 2017 (UTC)
        • I know, I saw the conversation yesterday. For official I mean like SW FB post/tweet or an update from the databank--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:34, July 14, 2017 (UTC)
