Regimental Commander?[]

Is there another source for the part about Bolux being "a regimental commander during the Clone Wars"? Pretty sure that's not mentioned in the Han Solo Adventure books. -Finlayson 19:40, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

  • The Han Solo and the Corporate Sector Sourcebook says "the droid found himself seconded to a military unit where he would construct trenches and fortifications for the Republic's military." This might have been during the Clone Wars, but it's a far cry from being an officer. Removing it. —Silly Dan (talk) 19:57, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
    • Thanks for clarifing SD. Good work on the article. It's way better. :) -Finlayson 21:42, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

Name change in UK[]

I recall reading that Bollux was renamed for UK releases, where "bollocks" has a very special meaning. Anyone know more? --SparqMan 18:26, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

  • These two links 1 2 indicate that the name was changed to "Zollux", at least in early UK editions. —Silly Dan (talk) 18:41, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
    • Heh, never mind the Bollux. Jwebb13Sith Emblem 00:12, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
      • This is the most offensive article on all of Wookieepedia. Period. Is the American name considered to be the official one? Because if it is...dear god. .... 23:52, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
        • Unfortunately for the Brits, yes. The character was created by Brian Daley for Han Solo at Stars' End with this spelling, as opposed to how the Brits spell it. Outside of the U.K. the term is virtually unknown as anything other than a funny-sounding word with no obscene or negative connotations whatsoever, similar to the term 'shag'.Tocneppil 00:07, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
          • It's offensive for Australians, as well. That wacky Brian Daley. .... 22:58, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
            • In The New Essential Guide to Droids, Zollux was established to be an alias Bollux sometimes used in his travels. I'm putting that in the BtS section: I'd put it in the in-universe section, but it was unclear to me when scanning the book when and where he used the alias. —Silly Dan (talk) 00:05, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Didn't han think he saw bollux somewhere during the NJO? I dont remember the details, but i could ahve sworn he met with bollux and he had had his memory wiped.Unsigned comment by PitchBrick (talk • contribs).

  • I...I got nothing here. This is just too funny to warrant a serious response. (Walks away) Thefourdotelipsis 11:22, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

That was just about the most hilarious thing I have seen today.--He brings the pain 23:21, February 20, 2010 (UTC)

What does Bollux run on Pete?[]

We never actually found out what Bollux ran on? Furthermore, when it's said that Bollux has been everywhere, where exactly does it mean? --194.81.33.25 13:38, February 20, 2012 (UTC)
