The battle box is fine and well, but it's length dominates the article. Any ideas on modifying this? --SparqMan 14:28, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)

6 or at least 9? Edit

Just wondering about these specifics and which is right. There was a recent edit to the main article that changed the number of AT-ATs to 6 instead of "at least 9" and another change for "all snowspeeders" to "most." Wondering what the sources for both of these claims are. -- Falmarin 03:54, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • Looking at the movie, I don't know where 9 came from. Even 6 is a stretch. I was only aware of 4 AT-ATs participating in the battle. As for snowspeeders, it seems unlikely they were all shot down considering the number of survivors. Wedge/Janson weren't shot down, and Hobbie also survived. So I'm not sure where the figures came from but they seem more realistic to me. SeanR 09:31, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

After looking at the "what links here" list, I decided it would be best if the commonly known battle stayed without any parenthesised clarifications. So Battle of Hoth was moved to Battle of Hoth (disambiguation) and Battle of Hoth (Galactic Civil War) was manually moved to just Battle of Hoth. - Sikon 11:51, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)

DarkSaber Edit

would the battle for the darksaber still consider the battle of hoth? Razzy1319 03:27, 15 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Jedi Civil War Edit

I'm pretty sure a Jedi Civil War battle was mentioned on the SWTOR site. Thecrazyweirdo (talk) 01:29, April 22, 2014 (UTC)
