Thala-siren[]
It appears on the Thala-siren in the Last Jedi the most visible as they ever have been luke literally milks them--Dogsteeves (talk) 18:41, December 28, 2017 (UTC)
- Please read the article, before the list this appears "Since breasts reasonably appear in every piece of Star Wars media, this list only includes specific mentions of them." That's why its been reverted--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 19:16, December 28, 2017 (UTC)
- The legends side shows Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope as the first appearance tho?--Dogsteeves (talk) 19:18, December 28, 2017 (UTC)
- It appears the Legends page doesn't includes the same condition to add appearances--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 19:22, December 28, 2017 (UTC)
Considering the very visible nature of the female Thala-siren's breasts in the scene in the Last Jedi, I feel it would make sense to change the page's picture to one. Furuderikas (talk) 00:38, January 4, 2019 (UTC) File:EethKothDaughter.jpg Should this be added as a picture since it reveals a breast?
I agree with a mention of the Thala-Siren being worth adding to this page. Its become a very "infamous" scene in The Last Jedi for better or worse, and it's a fairly obvious example of a breast's biological function.
Additionally, I think adding the image of Ben Solo without his shirt, displaying his chest and musculature, much like his grandfather Anakin Skywalker did before, would be a good thing. --Matthew Schroeder (talk) 01:32, January 29, 2020 (UTC)
Is this page even necessary?[]
I don't see how this adds anything to the wiki or Star Wars universe. It is a simple biological part that every mammal/avian species in any universe has. Kamikaze839 18:18, June 18, 2019 (UTC)
- But why does that mean it shouldn't have a page? --Lewisr (talk) 18:36, June 18, 2019 (UTC)
- There are 124 separate articles on anatomy on this wiki, running the gamut from lekku to limb. If those all have pages, why would we exclude this one? — DigiFluid(Whine here) 18:40, June 18, 2019 (UTC)
- Delete those ones lol —Unsigned comment by Savage Almond (talk • contribs).
- Honestly, I agree, this is completely unnecessary Moozer —Unsigned comment by Moozer3 (talk • contribs).
- If you want my opinion, this page is just as valid as pages like Lekku, Eye, Liver, Tooth, etc. Unless all anatomy pages will be removed, I don't see why some people being prudes means this page is somehow less necessary than those. Timjer (talk) 09:46, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
- Lekku is appropriate because it is specific to Star Wars. Unless the others have specific significance, they are unnecessary. Playhouse76 (talk) 08:59, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
Yes, but is the same true of this page? There is truly no real educational purpose for this page, and only serves to entertain in a derogatory manner. —Unsigned comment by 64.224.249.41 (talk • contribs).
Very one sided pictures[]
Female humans have breasts too, it's not an alien thing to have female breasts, why are the only human breasts shown male? for legends and canon CharlotteSmoothie (talk) 02:42, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Charlotte. Images are selected to be demonstrative and illustrative of a subject, and the number of images is based on the space available for them. At the moment, the canon page is not long enough to warrant a second image, but the Legends page is long enough to include multiple images for multiple species. Unlike in the real world, non-mammalian species have them. Since the focus of our wiki is Star Wars, not the real world, the information and images reflect both what is unique to Star Wars and what is shared with the real world. That includes information about how some humans breastfeed and experience some of the same challenges as real-world parents, but the bulk of the article and images focus on aliens as uniquely Star Wars.
