How come this guy is in the army AND the navy? do the clones just adapt to whatever situation? User:1705jallen

Good status Edit

Ponds should be taken to good status. Whoever has worked on the article should do that. --Clone Commander Lee 11:46, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Did Ponds Die? Edit

When did Ponds die? I was watching the Clone Wars season finale and after Aurra Sing shot a clone, Mace Windu says, "That was Ponds." I could be wrong, because I thought the killed trooper's name was CT-4111.-- 02:17, May 1, 2010 (UTC)

  • Pond's number is CC-6454, not what that TCW episode said. However, that was him, and Anakin's dialogue proves this, as well as when they drop off Ponds in space. JangFett (Talk) 02:50, May 1, 2010 (UTC)
  • Maybe we should create a CT-411 page and link Pond's page to it, in case someone who doen't know tries to search the trooper who got shot in Lethal Trackdown. Mand'alor Fett II 20:18, May 12, 2010 (UTC)
  • Sorry, pay no attention to the comment I just made. I forgot that I had already asked the question before, and gotten an answer. Mand'alor Fett II 20:21, May 12, 2010 (UTC)

Cause I know we're all wondering.... Edit

Ponds official designation. Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Visual Guide Ultimate Battles identifies him as CC-6454,but in the recent episode Lethal Trackdown, Ponds himself gives his number as CT-411. Should we take this as a retcon, as the Visual Guide Ultimate Battles is considered C-canon, while the Show is a step above as T-canon? Or should we establish it as a canon conflict?--Dr. Kermit(Complain.) 21:39, May 1, 2010 (UTC)

  • No, the episode did mess up on his number. JangFett (Talk) 23:26, May 1, 2010 (UTC)
    • They definetly screwed up, but still, doesn't the actual show takes precedence over some visual guide? Gry Sarth 21:03, May 2, 2010 (UTC)
      • A lot of TCW reference books contradict one and another. Some information may seem different than what's present in other guides and in the TCW episodes. They did simply mess up, and whoever wrote this episode was lazy to even look up if Ponds had a number. JangFett (Talk) 22:42, May 2, 2010 (UTC)
          • Maybe we should make a CT-411 page and link it to Ponds page. Mand'alor Fett II 14:29, May 10, 2010 (UTC)
            • No, that's not needed. JangFett (Talk) 15:01, May 10, 2010 (UTC)
              • It is not really an error as he was deliberately misinforming sing as to who he is, she had no idea how to tell what number he was, even the way he says it sounds like he is deliberately decieving her hence why he says ct-411 rather than cc-f11 or his real number cc-6454--Mando'ade1138 06:17, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
                • That's speculation. CC-6454 is Ponds' confirmed number. JangFett (Talk) 17:20, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

Who changed the number to CC-0411? That is incorrect, and we already know thta TWC disregards canon.Mand'alor Fett II 19:38, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

  • I just changed it to CC-6454 and someone has already changed it back? Who did that?Mand'alor Fett II 19:44, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
    • It appears CC7567 moved the page, as per reasons given in this log entry. Therefore, I would suggest you discuss it with him. Also, please remember in the future that new sections go on the bottom of talk pages, not the top. —Master Jonathan New Jedi Order (Jedi Council Chambers) 19:49, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
      • The reason why CC7567 moved the article was because of Ponds' designation change in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars Character Encyclopedia. Yes, originally Ponds' number was CC-6454, but the character guide apparently changed it. The TCW episode, Lethal Trackdown, also introduced some number for Ponds—"CT-411." Because of the episode and character guide, Ponds' continuous number change sets up a continuity error. JangFett (Talk) 02:06, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
        • His Encyclopedia entry lists him as CC-6454 again, so I'd say that the Character Encylopedia is the odd-man out, and the article should be moved back to CC-6454. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 05:20, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
          • Epic meh. I'm inclined to go with the Encyclopedia like you because it's more recent, but I just wish there was more consistency and support of authorial decisions. It doesn't appear like the Holocron "continuity" database is doing its job. CC7567 (talk) 21:39, April 21, 2012 (UTC)

Ponds on GeonosisEdit

According to the Encyclepedia, Ponds was the one who gave Mace the five special commando units in AOTC. I suggest a merge, if there is a page for that commander. 501st DogmaRepublic emblem(Comlink) 22:22, April 21, 2012 (UTC)

  • Where does it say that? If "serving under him" is it, then that does not mean that commander was him. Unless it specifically says so, it's considered speculation. JangFett (Talk) 22:37, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
    • Nevermind, I see it. You can add AOTC and add the {{Retcon}} tag there. JangFett (Talk) 22:38, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
      • I'm working on the partial update right now; please don't edit until I'm done so that edit conflicts can be avoided. CC7567 (talk) 22:40, April 21, 2012 (UTC)

What is the chronology of Ponds' death because I was under the impression that Ryloth was after the release of Ziro but Ziro was in prison in "Assassin" which takes place after Ponds' death? Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).
