So about that name... Edit

(NOTE: I'm glad my poor observation skills get to be "part of the public record" for the remainder of the internet. God, it even explains it right there on top. I need to learn how to read paragraphs from the beginning, not the middle. *facepalm*)

I first came across this character via a description that included no pronouns. Intrigued, I thought to myself "I wonder what this crazy chick's deal is?" and ended up here... and I was, uh, surprised. Is there some sort of wacky "inside baseball" story behind this? Or did they actually just create this character and go "His name shall be Danetta"? Because I've made it my life's mission to ask everyone I meet if they can conceive of "Danetta" as being anything but a girl's name, and the answer is always "Hell no".

Part of the reason it's so odd is because it's obvious that they put a lot of thought into his last name (or, perhaps, based the character on the name): "pitta" is a concept in Ayurvedic medicine describing a certain personality type that, when imbalanced, results in one becoming "hostile, destructive, critical of self and others, controlling, etc."[1], which... yeah.

    • I didn't get snippy. I told you a rule, that you must talk about a change you think may need making, and why talking about this wouldn't fit with the rule, it won't be changed. Anyway, Wookieepedia is not a forum. The Jedi Council Forums or another Star Wars discussion site would be a better place for talking about this. Cheers.       • I'm not talking about being told about the rule, I meant your terse "You're not getting [thing you never asked for], that's that, end of discussion" tone. But anyway, it's obvious that I was mistaken regarding the workings of this wiki, so I'm not sure why you think I was suggesting any sort of change in the article?
