How is Leland Chee's Blog canon? MPK 20:57, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Because the info in that entry is from the Holocron. -- I need a name (Complain here) 20:58, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Because he's a VIP and an official representative of Lucas Licensing. Besides, "The new names are all new characters". They're coming up - \\Captain Kwenn// Ahoy! 20:59, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

  • You don't decide what's canon and what's not. Leland Chee is, as Kwenn said above, a VIP and an official representative of Lucas Licensing. SuperShadow—and you—aren't in the same position as Chee. Whether you like it or not, it's canon. Deal with it. —Grand Admiral J. Force Unleashed?Edit

A new review of the Wii version of the game is claiming "Darth Desolous" is a boss in the upcoming Force Unleashed game. A review site certainly isn't canon but I wasn't sure if it warrants a BTS mention or something like has happened with "Darth Phobas" so I thought I'd mention it here for those who know more than me to decide. --Xanos 23:08, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

At maybe 00:42 you can see a red armored figure that I automatically thought to be Desolous, but of course I could be wrong. Purpilia 01:20, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Merge with Darth DesolusEdit

The two pages need merged, but I don't know what the protocol is for merging two talk pages: I'll take a look when I've had breakfast. "Desolous" is presumably the correct one to keep, as it's the spelling used by Chee.

Also, if what User:Drewton is saying on Talk:Darth Phobos is correct, then we have an image of the character, and it seems that Desolous becomes a Sith by finding the holocron of Darth Phobos; presumably the Secret Apprentice takes the holocron when he defeats Desolous as the first-level boss.

Desolous Edit

So he is not a live being. He's the spirit of Desolous, so he and Phobos could have been part of the Rule of Two, right?--Jedi Kasra 02:39, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

  • He might not necessarily be a spirit. How could he be trained by Phobos while Phobos was a hologram while he himself was a hologram/spirit? Drewton 02:42, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
    • It was said in the web documentary on the lucasarts site that he was a spirit. NighthawkLeader 06:39, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
      • Actually it didn't explicitly say that they were spirits. Hayden Blackman said that the Secret Apprentice travels to the Jedi Temple to confront the spirits of dead Jedi, and compared to the spirits you do see in that clip (which glow blue, float in the air and are transparent) Phobos and Desolous are clearly solid matter. - KAJ Talk 11:55, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Then, if not ghosts, I presume Phobos and Desolous are heretics? Vader and Sidious were the two Dark Lords at the time, so there could be no real Sith other than those two, since the Rule of Two was still in effect. Also, if I'm not mistaken, in Darth Bane: Rule of Two, both Kaan and Qordis spirits appeared as they did in life, so it probably depends on the spirits.--Jedi Kasra 05:59, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
  • If Phobos and Desolous are still alive, I don't think that they'd be necessarily overthrowing the Rule of Two; they'd want to overthrow Sidious and Vader.

BTW, the user on who first talked about Darth Desolous was talking today about the Desolous Wookieepedia article. He said: From what I gathered, Desolous was in the flesh while Phobos was not. Somehow, what I wrote got changed into: "Phobos trained Desolous and they are both spirits now." My translation skills might be uber-crappy, but at least my spoiler pics were spot on.[1] It's still not really confirmation, though. Drewton 01:42, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Still, if they're both alive, they'd be heretics. Even if only Desolous was alive, he'd be a heretic because of his use of the "Darth" title. Grand Moff Tranner (My personal comlink) 11:12, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
    • I assume it's a self-styled title, and Vader thus disapproves of Desolous, sending the apprentcie to kill him. Chack Jadson (Talk) 11:11, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

darth desolous is dead these words came out of his mouth during the force unleashed "it took the entire jedi consel to kill me boy" 20:49, 2 March 2009 (UTC) unanomiss
