Didn't Leland Chee say that this character didn't exist? 03:11, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

  • If that's the case, then someone who's a bit more knowledgeable will then delete the page.=/ Trak Nar 03:20, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
    • See our Kari Wahlgren article. Chee said Darth Phobas didn't exist, not Darth Phobos. -LtNOWIS 03:34, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
      • Oh, alright then. Still you'd think he would have said "Phobas doesn't exist but Phobos does" or something... but whatever. 03:49, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
        • One would certainly think so. -- Ozzel 03:53, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
          • Unless you don't want to give away a continuity nugget, and someone has given you a convenient misspelling to hang your avoidance on . . . jSarek 06:29, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
            • Maybe he didn't want to reveal too much, and the news of Kari's characters was released too early. Sith Alchemy 101 09:38, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
              • He said that Darth Phobas didn't exist.Drewton 14:55, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Since the character will only appear in the duel mode of the wii version, and not be part of the story, wouldn't that make her non-canon? Shouldn't the article taged with the {noncanon} template? 03:59, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

  • It's possible she'll appear in the non-duel part of the game. -LtNOWIS 06:29, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
    • She's in the Wii-exclusive Jedi Temple level and the apprentice of Darth Desolous.Drewton 14:53, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
      • What's your source for that, please? I can't see it in the online version of the gamepro article, or the TF.N coverage. --McEwok 14:59, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
        • It was said in an interview that she's a holocron keeper in the Temple (don't have link anymore, however). The picture in the review is right after another pic in the Temple with Stormtroopers, and the area looks exactly the same.Drewton 16:44, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
          • Well not to contradict any of your statements, I heard that both Sith are either holograms or something of a similar nature used for the Jedi Trials. And now they are used as holo guards for the Temple. But of course this could be fan speculation. Purpilia 20:24, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
            • I did a search to find my sources again, and you're right. According to a member on, in Australlia he saw a PSP and PS2 preview, dubbed in German. He said he's heard that Darth Phobos is the Apprentice's 'dark side counselor' (opposite of Kota), keeper of holocrons, and the Master of Darth Desolous, a former Jedi that has taken up residence in the Temple as a Sith. Also: 'According to an Aussie source, Phobas is a holocron-guide of sorts.' He posted a picture of concept art of Desolous and Phobos, which is proof that the German thing was bucket dot com )/albums/z274/EyeBashBadWriting/PSP_Sith_Lords.jpgDrewton 00:04, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
              • This sounds really good and credible; if Phobos is a holocron, she presumably instructs Desolous, explaining how he's a Sith (since Chee cited it, that is probably the correct spelling: Darth Desolus needs merged in Darth Desolous), and then the Secret Apprentice. Do you have the TF.N link, too? :D Thanks! --McEwok 08:35, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
                • Yup, here's the link, the post is just a few posts down :) . [1]Drewton 12:34, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
                  • Thanks! :D EDIT: wait, hang on. I can't see the "Master of Darth Desolous" bit...? EDIT 2: Found it! --McEwok 09:22, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
                    • And we now have the first in-game shot of Desolous which is exactly like the Desolous in the concept art, so it's more proof that the source is authentic. Drewton 17:01, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
                      • The new webdoc on the official TFU site seems to imply that Darth Phobos and Darth Desolous will be in the (apparently PS2 exclusive?) Jedi Temple level. So, that's canon. -LtNOWIS 05:52, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
                        • I don't know why they said PS2 exclusive, because it's also on Wii. Drewton 14:28, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Rule of Two?Edit

  • How does this effect the Rule of Two? Were Phobos and Desolous in some suspended animation or have Lucasfilm taken more liberty with the Rule of Two than they should have? DarthMalus 01:45, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
    • Phobos is dead. its her hologram you fight. Purpilia 01:56, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
      • Desolous is not dead, however. It might not actually be breaking the Rule of Two, because Desolous could be planning to overthrow Sidious and Vader. Drewton 02:09, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
        • It doesn't look like he's alive. Haden Blackman seems to imply he's one of the "metaphysical challenges" the Apprentice faces. So, he's not a flesh and blood being. -LtNOWIS 05:52, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
          • Also, the only line he says in the trailer("A thousand Jedi died cursing Darth Desolous") seems to imply that he's from before the Jedi Purge. If he's just a Jedi that took up residence in the Temple and started calling himself a Sith, the line wouldn't make sense. I realize he's probably exaggerating/bs'ing, but it's the only insight we have ATM, and it gives me the impression of a holocron/spirit talking about his glory days.InSaneWeTrust 08:12, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
            • That's probably what he is. But I don't know how Phobos could be his master then. Drewton 14:27, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
              • *Rubs temples* Because she's from his era as well? VT-16 07:23, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
                • according to the web documentary on the LucasArts site, Phobos and Desolous are both sith spirits. NighthawkLeader 08:24, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
                  • Actually I didn't explicitly say that they were spirits. Hayden Blackman said that the Secret Apprentice travels to the Jedi Temple to confront the spirits of dead Jedi, and compared to the spirits you do see in that clip (which glow blue, float in the air and are transparent) Phobos and Desolous are clearly solid matter. - KAJ Talk 11:55, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
  • So was Vader in the cave on Dagobah. No they made it clear that you are duelling long dead ones, so they could truly be from any era. Still I love the selection of species! DarthMalus 15:27, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
    • Both Phobos and Desolous are from the Old Republic era, when the Rule of Two wasn't even an idea.--Seth danny 16:55, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

they are dead deslous is a spirit paunans (spelling?) dont live for thousands of years hundreds maybe and these came out of his mouth "it TOOK the entire jedi concel to KILL me boy" - desolous - anyonomis (spelling ?)

Which One?Edit

Is both Phobos and Desolous in every version of The Force Unleashed? or is it just a PS2, PS3, PSP, or Wii exclusive? JediNTT307 21:09, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

  • As I mentioned in the article, she appeares only in the versions developed by Krome studios - PS2, PSP and Wii.--Seth danny 16:49, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Where is all this back story for Phobos coming from? 17:18, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

The game, there's a section titled Databank on Starkiller's ship68.43.207.114 17:37, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
    • The earlier bio told about her being the master of Darth Desolous (via holocron). Have this been proven wrong? Charlii 11:36, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
      • Yes. Desolous died long before the Clone Wars (thousands of years, it seems). Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 19:56, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
        • And that is relevant, how? It is not specified at all how old Phobos is, so she could be even older than Desolous. Charlii 07:53, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
          • I was merely answering your question. You asked if Phobos was the master of Desolous, via holocron. I informed you that that was not the case, and I provided an explanation. If the answer to your question is not relevant... Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 11:10, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
            • Does her age Really matter? She's not a major character, so there. Charlii, I really think requests for her age are a little unreasonable as it hasn't been released in a canon source. 11:30, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
              • Some source, pre game release, stated that she was the holocron master of Desolous. If this was a legit source (I don't remember what it was right now) then that fact should still be canon if it hasn't been explicitly changed in the game. The issue of when Desolous lived doesn't prove anything one way or the other since we don't know when Phobos lived. Charlii 07:24, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
                • There is no holocron. Darth Desolous is only used as a template for the Trials. It is by no means her spirit, just a simulacrum used to test Padawans. Purpilia 21:35, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

It is established in the game that she died long before the current timeframe. It is also clarified that her appearance is part of the Jedi Trials. So her death should not be listed as a spiritual death. It is not her spirit that is defeated by Starkiller, it it a simulacrum of the Sith. Same goes for Darth Desolous. I will change it back to unknown if there is no dissent. Purpilia 19:28, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Add Taunt section?--LandonJaeger 23:22, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Note: by this I mean what is said during Force and Saber locks.--LandonJaeger 23:59, December 9, 2009 (UTC)

Duel with StarkillerEdit

Err... since it was technically just a hologram, thus not a Force-wraith and not even a personality-imbued holocron image, shouldn't this section be removed? It doesn't concern *her* in the slightest... Gorthuar 17:43, December 17, 2009 (UTC)

Skin ColorEdit

Forgive me, but, from my point of view, it seems that Phobos has a very dark lime skin color than just regular green. Darth Kieduss the Wise 17:41, April 2, 2011 (UTC)
