Reaction[]

Holy fudge. -- SFH 02:05, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

  • First Bane, now Plagueis. Sith Lords are getting good coverage lately. Here's hoping if these pre-prequel novels take off, we might get some TotJ-era novels? The rise of Naga, Simus, Ludo and co? Anyway, hope they release a title soon, though for now, are we going to link to "Darth Plagueis novel" in Appearances sections, or simply leave it until we get a title? - Kwenn 11:18, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Oh man, I'm really looking forward to this, hopefully we will get more books on ancient sith. 8311-XHT 22:29, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

After we finish covering Plagueis and Andeddu, I think there should be a novel about Darth Vectivus, and one about Darth Millennial. Telos 08:23, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Yeah, Sith Lords are getting good coverage, but every book that comes out about them ends up being stupid and inaccurate.

PoD was crap and the sequel was crap. Someone who worked for LucasFilm years back accidently leaked some information about Qui-Gon Jinn actually being Plaguis, (sounds stupid, but it fit together in a way that was suprisingly plausible), but then they turned him into a Munn instead [Redacted by administration]. If they end up making a novel about Naga Sadow he'll probally end up being changed to a Noghri and end up being retconned as the Great-great-great grandfather of Bane. *Rolls his eyes* --The truth hurts... 20:54, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

"Issues surrounding Palpatine's backstory"[]

  • Is this all that he says in the interview? Or is there anything more specific? Sounds to me like maybe there's another project in development regarding Palpatine's backstory. Cool. - breathesgelatinTalk 02:57, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Cancellation[]

Noooo! :( Very upsetting... but, well, I guess it's for the best. The mystery surrounding Palpatine's backstory only adds to his character, in my opinion. --Danik Kreldin 00:16, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

I was looking forward to this so much...at least the Death Star novel is coming out, right? Right? -Milo Fett[Comlink] 00:34, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Dooku and Qui-Gon[]

Is there a source for Dooku and Qui-Gon appearing? Oyam5000 05:05, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Fanon Novel[]

Anyone mind if I write a Fanon Darth Plagueis Novel? I want no money, just a fanon back story for him. I'll probably put it on a few separate blog entries on my Star Wars Blog. If anyone wants me to do it, let me know. It will be completely fanon of course, no profits, and, you can save 15% on your car insurance! (scratch that last part) Let me know on my talk page. Thanks! • You can't post fan fiction on the Star Wars blogs. RDMio18252 04:56, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

I'm confused. Will there in the future be a Plagueis novel? Or are they just throwing it out?Revan Acolyte88 03:52, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

  • It could theoretically be published in the future, I suppose, but it has been shelved now. -- Ozzel 05:09, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

It's back![]

So saith our good friend Sue Rostoni, the book is indeed back on the publication list. w00t! Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 20:08, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

Information...how?[]

Did some of you folks get advanced copies of the book or something? There's a lot of information in this article for a book that isn't even on shelves for another two weeks... DigiFluid 14:12, December 30, 2011 (UTC)

  • I'm guessing it's because it was originally supposed to be out December 27th, and certain bookstores, not knowing that the release date got changed to January 10th, stocked it then. That, or pre-orders. TIEPilot051999 04:27, January 15, 2012 (UTC)
  • That, plus Amazon did some form of deal where their "good" reviewers could read the book early if they promised to write early, relatively spoiler-lacking reviews, according to the comments I saw on one quite in-depth early review of the novel. I can imagine others may have done the same. User: Barren167 Darth Caedus: Childhood fan-character ruined. 03:46, January 21, 2012 (UTC)

Possible Error?[]

I only realised yesterday that at the back of the book (mine is a hardback) in the "About the Author" section James Luceno's name is spelt "JMmeŃÈžOeno" the rest of the section is perfectly fine. I am asking whether this is universal, a faulty batch or if it is only my copy? also if there is in fact a whole article concerning this or something that I have totally, missed please tell me of this. Thank You --Cameronfr (talk) 21:18, February 24, 2013 (UTC)
