Human?[]
Whilst a logical reason is given deducing the fact that he must be Human, taking the context of the description. It doesn't discount the possiblity that he's a Sith Pureblood. Should his species not be left out until it's specified further? Alexsau1991 (talk page) 21:27, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
- The explanation for it (site note) is rather fuzzy to me. If someone could clarify what the Holonet said, it'd be appreciated. Otherwise, I feel it would be more appropriate to leave out his species. Korsa3 21:33, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
- You can read it for yourself on the Rattataki article on the Holonet. Alexsau1991 (talk page) 22:39, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
- The site says that Vich "cast aside 1,000 years of anti-alien tradition." Given that he is breaking social norms by taking aliens into the Empire, it stands to reason that he is not an alien, and therefore Human. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 22:44, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
- True, it stands to reason that is not an alien, but from that we can not then take the assumption that he is Human; what makes you think he isn't Sith Pureblood? I did mention that possibility in my first point, but you didn't address it. Alexsau1991 (talk page) 21:23, March 9, 2011 (UTC)
- Because, if he is casting aside anti-alien tradition, that indicates that he himself is not an alien. Show me a source that says the Empire doesn't consider Purebloods to be aliens, if you please. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 21:29, March 9, 2011 (UTC)
- The dictionary defines alien as: ‘a resident born in or belonging to another country who has not acquired citizenship by naturalisation." A Pureblood has an ancient Sith bloodline (as confirmed by the holonet) and would hardly be considered as foreign or alien by the Sith Empire. "Sith" is in the name.
- The dictionary doesn't count as a source. By source, Darth Trayus means an in-universe material.Korsa3 11:29, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
- How about you show me a source that, a. confirms that he is human and b. confirms that the Empire does consider all non-humans including Sith Purebloods ‘alien’. That fact is, you don’t have a source or a good enough reason or you would have given it rather than asked me to provide a source and a decent answer. Its supposition not fact. - It's a logical deduction, and you need to calm down, buddy. And the source for Humans being the only species not considered alien is Fatal Alliance. But this whole Pureblood conversation really doesn't have a point, as far as I can see? Can we keep the discussion specifically to Vich? That's what this talk page is for. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 17:07, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
- You haven't actually said anything new, Purebloods being a possibly of his species after the deduction is how the discussion came about, hence why its relevent to Vich's species. Neither of us will convince the other it seems, perhaps a third or more option should be brought in to give their thoughts. Alexsau1991 (talk page) 17:36, March 10, 2011 (UTC)

- For all we know, Exal Kressh might have been taken as a Sith apprentice after Vich broke with the anti-alien tradition, so it's not a very good example. However, Vich being a Human does sound like an assumption to me... Imperators II 17:57, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
- I'm more than willing to change this given either ample evidence or sentiment. So howabout this: make a formal objection or comment on the nomination page, and see what the opinion of the AC is. That way we get multiple opinions from Wookieepedia "officials," so to speak. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 18:00, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
- That sounds like sensible course of action. Alexsau1991 (talk page) 19:01, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
