Birth yearEdit

Source on birth year? --SparqMan 14:34, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I don't know and if there is, it contradicts R.o.t.S.. Anakin was the youngest member of the Jedi Council ever, according to the movie. Depa was in the Council since 44 BBY when her Master, Mace Windu, also joined. He was 28. She has to be at least 24 at 44 BBY. So she must have been born by at least 68 BBY. I'm editing it. --Master Starkeiller 02:51, 25 Aug 2005 (UTC)

  • I've removed it entirely, since we have no source for the birthdate, let's try and avoid guesses. QuentinGeorge 06:03, 29 Aug 2005 (UTC)
    • And the reference (in Stark Hyperspace War) to her being on the Council has to be incorrect, since Windu was only 28 then, and, as a consequence, Depa would have been far younger. QuentinGeorge 06:05, 29 Aug 2005 (UTC)
      • It can work with her being just a bit younger than Mace. Mace was supposed to be very talented after all, they would assign people his age as his Padawans. We got a reference, it can work, let's not assume it was incorrect. And it's better with no mention of her age at all. --Master Starkeiller 13:44, 29 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Apart from the name of the actress Dipika O'Neill Joti, do we know anything else about her? 17:11, 27 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I think that Depa was born about 10 years after Mace Windu (62 BBY). Then why was she sitting on the Jedi Council aged 18? Because maybe Mace requested for her to represent him on the Jedi Council during the Stark Hyperspace War. As for other times (Jedi Apprentice books?) perhaps she was asked by Mace to sit in on a few sessions so that she could get an understanding of how the Jedi Council operates. Her Robes Edit

are her ropes on backwards!

Do you mean her robes? I don't think they are. TopAce, 10:29 28 Oct 2005, GMT +1

  • Ha. Yes, they are on backwards, it would appear. .... 06:00, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
    • But they're not. .... 06:02, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Chalactan TraitsEdit

So I dont see how Depa and her race are near human!!!?? Anyone have an answer?--Bobafett122005 06:01, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

What I mean to say is I dont see how there almost human. What part about them makes them unhumanish?--Bobafett122005 21:56, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Maybe it's the stuff that makes her look like someone from India? 04:51, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Chalactan ornaments of illumination Edit

I just finished reading Shatterpoint, and it mentioned that she had a wound on her forehead in the place of the greater mark, leaving only the "Seeker", the lesser mark. I have to return the book soon to the library, and I don't know how to fit it into the article well, so could someone make the addition? BambookidX 04:31, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

These are similar to Hindu marks. Someone (more knowledgeable than me) should put this in the "Behind the scenes section. Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

Battle of Geonosis? Edit

This is the reason for the {{contradict}} tag! I have not seen Ep. II in a few months, but I seem to recall Depa being present in the arena scene. Also, in Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds expansion, Depa is present on Geonosis. What source is there for her being left behind at the Jedi Temple? Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Audience Chamber) 22:31, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

  • When the Jedi available in the Temple were dispatched to Geonosis, Jedi Master Depa Billaba stayed behind to safeguard the children. - From the Bear Clan article in the Databank. Borsk Fey'lya 14:07, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
    • Depa appearing in Galactic Battlegrounds is an error. It should be Sar Labooda, obviously the ret-con didn't hit the creators fast enough. Cull Tremayne 09:38, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Image Edit

Could someone add a picture of her from SHW and/or Show of Force? Kuralyov 04:46, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

Lightsaber Edit

What color lightsaber does Depa have? Wedgeroks! 01:36, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Green. At least in Shatterpoint. Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

  • But in pre-Episode I works, it is crimson. ~~grobiano~~

But in star wars galactic battlegrounds its blue.

  • That's a double mistake then. Depa Billaba didn't go to Geonosis at the start of the Clone Wars—she staid behind to safeguard the younglings. The blue-bladed Jedi in Galactic Battlegrounds would be Sar Labooda. Only problem is... her lightsaber should be green. Makashi Flourish 08:04, 6 April 2009 (UTC)Makashi Flourish
  • I still don't get it. In Kanan she has a green lightsaber, on some web photos it's yellow, and in pre-Episode-I stuff, it's red. GAH!!!!! ~~Sorryaboutthmess~~
    • Hi. This page is for the Legends version of Depa Billaba. The canonical information, including the Kanan comic, can be found on Depa Billaba. Hope that helps! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 00:41, June 5, 2015 (UTC)

Stark Hyperspace War Edit

I just read through the comic and could not find her, or a mention of her, at all. Am I missing something here? --Imp 15:27, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

  • It' just a very very minor appearance...but she's there. ;) Borsk Fey'lya 15:48, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
    • Thanks! =) --Imp 15:48, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Dark Jedi?Edit

Since she fell to the Dark side shouldn’t she be classed as a dark Jedi? Joker1138(Mandalore) Neo-Crusader emblem

She has to be a dark jedi and if not a sith lord

I saw this picture (dead link) of the actress who portrayed Depa... i was surprised to see she has a mark on her nose, at the same point where one of Depa's ornaments are supposed to be. Perhaps the Chalactan ornaments were placed in order to hide it? should we add it in the BtS section?MoffRebus 08:15, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

it probaly got stuck!!!!!!hahaha:D(I saw it to)

The bar on the side says Coruscant, but the text says "when she was very young, her family left Chalact." I think OWS says Coruscant just because she grew up in Jedi Temple (in this sense, all Jedi in ROTE era have Coruscant as homeworld). Chandrila is apparently her birthworld.JustinGann 00:17, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

  • FWIW, NEGTC says that she was rescued from space pirates as an infant; I can't find anything that immediately says anything about her homeworld. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Talk page) 00:20, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Depa Billaba coma pic Edit

who is next to her on the left? is it T'ra Saa? If not could you tell me please who it was? this following question is an option to answer: Could you give me a quote or what is said in the comic? Jackson31195 21:51, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
