Sandtrooper's long stick Edit

When a Sandtrooper rides on a dewback, we can see that he is using a long stick. What is it? A lance, a spear, a pike or something else? 05:05, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

I think its a force pike.or at least a type of pike. 'Alpha85 Mod terrik (Kamino Databank) 02:19, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Move the topic Edit

Move to Temperate assault Stormtrooper? The OS says they are used on hot planets, not just desert worlds. Bly1993 00:47, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

  • The OS also canonizes the name "Sandtrooper". --SparqMan 01:02, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
    • The databank doesn't call things by their proper name. They call Sentinel-class landing crafts Imperial landing crafts. They call LAATs Republic attack gunships. They call Venators Republic attack cruisers, and so on and so forth. Bly1993 14:59, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

Sandtrooper rank Edit

I have seen sandtroopers with red and yellow shoulder pauldrons on the Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight PC game, can anymone tell me what their ranks could possibly be? Higher ranking officers?

  • Probably not. Of course, it really depends on if they're in action or not to determine if it's a high ranking officer. But as for red and yellow shoulder pauldrons, it's probably around the rank of the orange shoulder pauldron. Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 22:58, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

Wait - the entry says:

A stormtrooper sergeant's pauldron was white while an enlisted stormtrooper's pauldron was all black. Squad leaders, who led units of seven troopers, wore orange shoulder pauldrons.

But in Earth armies a sergeant and a squad leader are typically the same. I thought the orange pauldron denoted a low-level officer, like a LT.

In Star Wars Empire comics the red pauldron storm is a sergeant (e.g. #40, page 1)

SD-48 survival packEdit

  • In what official source does this name appear? --Sompeetalay 23:25, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

ARC armor? Edit

Some sandtroopers in Mos Eisley wear a kind of armor similar to the ARC's. Especialy this one. There are more in the docking bay team. Darth Morrt 22:21, August 19, 2010 (UTC)

Merge Edit

Should this be merged with Sandtrooper? --Wierdperson31 (talk) 01:33, December 25, 2015 (UTC)

  • No, because one article pertains to the Legends version (Desert sandtrooper) and the other to the Canon counterpart (Sandtrooper). Reddyredcp (talk) 01:42, December 25, 2015 (UTC)
