The actual movie clearly shows Red Squadron attacking Eadu. The actual movie depiction should outweigh the novel and the stupid comic that were doubtless working off slightly out-of-date scripts. Just like actual movie depictions should outweigh conflicting fluff that ignorant third-party authors pulled out of their ass for tie-in artbooks.
