The Imperial Palace throne room...I know I read that, but which book/trilogy was it in? Needs to be sourced... Thanos6 06:47, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

    • No no, it wasn't was either the Jedi Academy trilogy or the BFC. Thanos6 06:45, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
      • Can we have a definite citation? There is no indication, to my knowledge, that the room seen in TIE is a throne room rather than an auditorium, and there is similarly no information indicated to show it is at the top of the palace. If also doesn't jive with the throne room--WITH skylights--we see in SotE and Mara Jade: By the Emperor's Hand. --GrandAdmiralJello 04:46, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
        • The Coruscant throne room hasn't been depicted very consistently as of yet, but I remember at least two somewhat concordant pictures of it. The throne rooms do look rather similar in "Extinction", "Vader's Quest". And it doesn't look like the TIE-fighter pic *at all*... LelalMekha 12:52, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

            • Well, that really doesn't seem to interest anyone, does it? :/ I still find it's more representative of the Coruscant throneroom than the current pic, as the room is depicted the same way as in the picture I posted above in at least three sources... The Force UnleashedEdit

I think this article should be updated to include other such rooms. For example, the new game The Force Unleashed has revealed a large throne room onboard the first Death Star. Maphisto86 07:08, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Imperial Palace Edit

Cutscenes from TF show him in two throne rooms, one being the audience chamber one described in the article (albeit a bit different in appearence), and the other resembling the VQ one (and also looking a little like the ROTJ one on Death Star II). I think it makes sense for him to have two throne rooms in that massive palace, one being the audience chamber one, and the other being the one that is a private chamber overlooking Coruscant. Does anyone agree with me? Honestly, I've seen nothing official suggesting otherwise. --Mateo22 18:53, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Throne room in Tales: ExtinctionEdit

Here it is: Do you think it's the one depicted in VQ? I guess it is. Has everything that can be seen in VQ. It's only more realistic, and maybe a compromise between the two appearances (VQ vs TF)? LelalMekha 14:14, November 17, 2009 (UTC)

"Betrayal" Throne rooms Edit

The Star Wars Empire story "Betrayal" featuers two unique throne rooms. One is similar in layout to Palpatine's Chancellor's suite and was mostly bare with the exception of Palpatine's throne, a few drapes and a long window like the one in the suite. The other was layed out like a church knave, a long central asile with high arch pilliars along the sides with hanging drapes and a raised dais where Palpatine's throne was. Should these two be added to the Imperial Palace section or not?--Professor Ambrius (talk) 07:32, March 6, 2013 (UTC)
