Can any one give a discription of the Eta-5's weapons and shields would be helpful?

Since the Wookiee won't allow fan creations, I'll post this only in the discussion. A concept artist, who also happens to be a huge SW fan, has drawn a thrilling concept art of the Eta-5, and it sure looks like that could be it. But see for yourself, and also check Dronio's other posts, he's also come up with a StealthX, e.g.

- You should put it in the Behind the scenes section as a Fans speculation. Sith-venator 8:53PM 10-13-08
I am not finished with Betrayal yet, and though I do like the concept art above, I've seen no mention of an astromech droid. Syal Antilles, throughout her entire start-up process, never talked to a droid, as pilots usually do.
As for weapons and shields, the article seems to have those now. Two laser cannons, to concussion missile launchers, and light shielding.
On a personal note, the Eta-5 seems to be a very well-balanced design.

A-Wing?[]
While I like the TIE-type render of the Eta-5, descriptions alluding more towards the A-Wing fighter are drawing up the conclusion that the ship looks like an RZ-1 with solar panels.
From these descriptions, it looks like there's no droid in there, either. MillieMuddFan67 21:18, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
As there seem to be no depictions of the Eta-5 that actually fit the description given in the article, I decided to remedy that and came up with two speculative versions. They are basically edited schematics from the RZ-1 page.

I hope these can be of use to the wiki. Darklazer 15:33, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
I am well aware of the policies regarding fan art and non-canon material on Wookieepedia. I guess this would be necessary to keep general order and to prevent people from submitting their personal crackpot material as canon.
I was not aware however that these policies apply to material which is clearly stated to be a speculation but nonetheless based on descriptions that were excerpted from an accepted canon source.
On a sidenote: With the lack of a canon depiction(AFAIK), I don't see how having a speculative design is any worse than having none at all. Darklazer 17:27, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
- because we deal in canon only. Speculation is not allowed, and fan art is just that. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 17:30, May 16, 2011 (UTC)
