Son As A User[]

The Son From The Mortis Arc of TCW used force-lightning especially Red force lightning. Hmmm?

I Suggest adding it in the infobox and 'users' section of the arcticle Skyguy007 11:09, March 27, 2011 (UTC)

I was about to suggest that. Oh well, great minds think alike!

Suggested addition: Darth Plagueis content[]

A suggested change to be made: the addition of the description of Force Lightning by Darth Plagueis:

Darth Plagueis novel (James Luceno) pages 159-160:

"A Jedi sufficently strong in the Force can be trained to produce a fascimile, but not true Sith lightning, which, unabated, has the power not only to incapacitate or kill, but to physically transform the victim. Force lightning requires a strength of a sort only a Sith can command because we accept consequence and reject compassion. To do so requires a thirst for power that is not easily satisfied. The Force tries to resist the callings of ravenous spirits; therefore it must be broken and made a beast of burden. It must be made to answer to one's will."

"But the Force cannot be treated deferentially," he added as a few final tendrils sparked from his fingertips. "In order to summon and use lightning properly, you will someday have to be on the receiving end of its power, as a means of taking the energy inside yourself."

Darth maul[]

Darth maul used force lighntning in the force unleashed --Zamomblue222 (talk) 20:02, October 25, 2013 (UTC)

  • Can you give a link to a screen cap (such as IMGUR) of this? I've never seen anyone say this about Maul in the game, but I would like to know if this is correct. Thanks Red Heathen (talk) 19:46, November 19, 2018 (UTC)

Darth Maul ???[]

according to clone wars magazine 13 ;

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_The_Clone_Wars_Magazine_13

there is a section say ; he can use force lightning. --Marco 1907 (talk) 12:37, January 24, 2014 (UTC)

There is a user of "Force Lightning Shield" that is not mentioned in this article. In the Force Unleashed video game, Starkiller has the ability to generate a "Force Lightning Shield."

Tutaminis[]

Should we add a section about how Galen Merek once used Tutaminis to gain power from normal lightning, and shoot enhanced lightning? Agent Es November 3, 2015

That seems like it would be more fitting on the Tutaminis page, since that's how Marek was able to enhance the lightning. --Wolfalpha900 (talk) 03:12, November 17, 2015 (UTC)

TFU Powers?[]

Should some of Starkiller's other lighting abilities (Detonate, storm, scorcher, etc) be added to the page? They may or may not be considered official.Wolfalpha900 (talk) 02:18, November 16, 2015 (UTC)

2.2 Updated with new information[]

Colors Edit[]

I added Darth Maul's name, along with a reference, to the list of Dark Siders who used red Sith Lightning in the section titled "Colors". I gave the source as The Phantom Menace video game, in which Maul is a boss and there is no game mechanics involved with his ability to use lightning nor the determination of the color. There is a screen capture image in the game guide, Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace: Prima's Official Strategy Guide, that shows Maul using red lightning. As mentioned in a previous talk statement, it was said that Maul could use Force lightning in the now Legends, The Clone Wars magazine, issue number 13, but it did not state what color Maul wielded.

There are three sources that state or show Darth Maul using lightning, and two of them show him specifically using red lightning. All sources are now Legends, and as far as I know, there is no canon mention of him having this ability. Red Heathen (talk) 22:28, August 26, 2018 (UTC)
