Pre-Battle of YavinEdit

What was the calendar like before the Battle of Yavin? SkyGuy-Let's chat! 20:10, January 6, 2018 (UTC)

  • I believe the Empire used a dating system based on its founding date. Before that, I have no idea.--D9328 (talk) 20:37, January 6, 2018 (UTC)d9328

BSI and ASI Edit

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary invents an entirely new dating system. Before Starkiller Incident (BSI) and After Starkiller Incident (ASI). It gives character ages and events dating back to the prequels in this new date format. How should we go about documenting that? GokūBlack10 (Talk) 17:43, December 22, 2019 (UTC)

According to Matt Martin, The Visual Guides have a dating system that's only used for the specific guide. Rogue One Visual Guide uses BR1 ("Before Rogue One") while Solo Official Guide uses BKR ("Before Kessel Run"). --Stardust178 (talk) 22:41, January 9, 2020 (UTC)
