UnderConstruction

Geonosis/Legends was the improvement drive project for the week of 25 September, 2005.
See how it improvedOther improvement drives

What happens to Geonosis after the Attack of the Clones? Does Geonosis get recaptured by the Confederacy of Independent Systems? Apparently, the Separatists still have droid foundries on the planet according to the General Grievous Comics. Probably, under the Empire the Geonosians get enslaved because of their role in the Clone Wars and the bigoted attitudes of the Human-dominated Galactic Empire. The Empire would have also installed a heavy military presence on Geonosis, similar to Kashyyyk and Ando. 222.152.185.49

Population[]

100 billion? What is the source for that? Could the Geonosians even keep themselves alive on that planet without killing themselves? -- SFH 18:59, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Picture.[]

Someone needs to fix the picture of Geonosis' terrain as it is covering some of the words.

Copyvio[]

Some info was copy/pasted from here:

Hmm - I think you will find that BOTH sites have taken the info from the same source -ie, most of what was removed appears in the book Star Wars: Complete Locations (p. 13 in my edition). The difference with wookieepedia is that at least it listed this book in its sources. I suggest that the removed text thus be reinstated (with some paraphrasing and a more specific reference to the section of text if need be). If this can't be put back in because of copyvio, then I am afraid 80% of wookiepeedia thus should be removed. All info on this site comes from a book, movie, game, etc. Otherwise it is just fanon. What do people think? --Merbabu 10:10, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

2.3 Expansion[]

Do anyone want to expand this article? It seems that the game Empire At War expanded on that... Unsigned comment by 218.103.195.241 (talk • contribs).

  • I haven't played Empire At War in a while... So I'm not sure if it needs an expansion for information about that game, what would you like to see added to the article? --Jedimca0(Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 11:04, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

TCW Season Two[]

Anyone have a source for its appearance in Season Two, or is this just speculation based on the trailer? —Milo Fett[Comlink] 17:58, September 23, 2009 (UTC)

  • It's confirmed in a recent chat transcript from SW.com. MauserComlink 17:59, September 23, 2009 (UTC)
    • Here, if that helps any. (More retcons. Yay.) CC7567 (talk) 23:47, September 23, 2009 (UTC)

Geonosia?[]

Can we please put the fact that before Geonosis was discovered, the Geonosians called the planet Geonosia? It seems stupid that we don't have that fact.

  • Also where does that blurb about the etymology of Geonosis the process of becoming earth-likecome from? Sochwa 20:48, March 28, 2011 (UTC)

Over Geonosis?[]

"Construction of the Death Star began over Geonosis, by the Geonosian's under orders of Sidious, secret leader of the CIS." In the ROTS Visual Dictionary, I can only find the part without "over Geonosis". As far as I know, it's nowhere stated to be constructed over Geonosis. --91.56.201.82 21:14, May 30, 2015 (UTC)

Well, I could find something in the Atlas but this is only about the construction "on occupied Geonosis shortly before the end of the Clone Wars". It's not necessarily related to the construction mentioned in the VD (even unlikely, because the VD seems to talk about the CIS project). --79.250.14.16 16:33, June 2, 2015 (UTC)

Well, my change was reverted. But what I said above is still the case.--79.250.14.16 16:54, June 2, 2015 (UTC)

  • Except the Atlas, at least the English version, doesn't state construction began on Geonosis after the Clone Wars. It says the Geonosians continued working on the Death Star project under the Empire, continued implying it was already started before the Declaration of a New Order, which is supported by the other sources.
