Fanblade Inconsistancies[]

I was wondering about this; in the Clone Wars cartoon, and in the stats for the Fanblade on this page, the Fanblades have room for one pilot who does all the gunning as well. In 'No Man's Land', both Obi-Wan and Alpha are in the same Fanblade, and it seems Obi-Wan's gunning while Alpha pilots. So just how big is the cockpit anyway, and how is the gunning set up? Or was this just a mistake? (Or am I simply remembering the look of the ship in the Clone Wars cartoon wrong? XP) - Indy Gold 00:14, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Well, we could always add in a "Gunner (1; optional)" under "Pilot (1)". —Grand Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 00:37, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
    • That might be a good option. Perhaps the secondary turrets (on the tips of the 'wings', which are the ones I think Asajj used in the Clone Wars cartoon) have one set of controls, while the main turrets on the body of the ship (which Obi-Wan was using) have a different set? I suppose that would allow for the pilot to gun when they're alone, but still have the option for a second gunner. - Indy Gold 03:20, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
      • Went ahead and added the optional gunner, since there were no objections for a long while. Anyone who disagrees, feel free to chime into the discussion. - Indy Gold 01:38, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Title[]

What's the source of the 'Ginivex' title?Tocneppil 01:36, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Seems to come from the official databank: "Based loosely on aggressive Geonosian air patrol skimmers, the resulting Ginivex-class starfighters were informally dubbed "fanblades" for their most distinctive feature." --Craven 17:43, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
  • Class name is also in 'Starships of the Galaxy'. But I'm wondering, where does the length of the Ginivex come from? Starships doesn't cover lengths. --Sompeetalay 11:00, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Appearance in Jedi Trial?[]

Can anyone please advise me of where in Jedi Trial this vessel appears? I read this novel recently and cannot recall any such appearance. -Kev-La Ttolya 05:39, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
