This page seriously cracks me up. I get to the page, and there is a big cup of hot choclolate just sitting there. Adamwankenobi 08:57, 7 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Preparation[]

Are these actual instructions from one of those books? Kuralyov 04:06, 22 Nov 2005 (UTC)

    • I *THINK* it's from Joiner King.

Oh, I love that picture, BTW, it's like the epitome of hot chocolate. Where'd it come from? Thanos6 04:19, 22 Nov 2005 (UTC)

      • That's a pretty good summary of how Leia prepared hot chocolate for Alema Rar in The Joiner King. And even though the picture is OOU, I like it. Kinda reminds me of the page on toasters at Battlestar Wiki. —Darth Culator (talk) 04:46, 22 Nov 2005 (UTC)
  • You know what REALLY cracks me up? The Google ads. :) Thanos6 04:49, 22 Nov 2005 (UTC)

      • I keep getting Ghirardelli (the three-headed chocolate ;)) or hot chocolate from Target or, oddly enough, Dragon NaturallySpeaking 8 Voice Recognition Software. But they're all such a radical change from the normal "Is Bush a Sith" or "Star Wars Battlefront II" that I get a fit of the giggles. Thanos6 04:58, 22 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Exotic?[]

Surely it's only exotic in some places? So should it say exotic? - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 19:54, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

  • Well, it's only ever been described in canon as "exotic"... it may exist in one place as a non-exotic drink, but it's still considered overall "exotic". JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 20:00, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
    • yeh but so is every single planet in the galaxy, so we going to say they're all exotic just because in most places they would be? - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 20:02, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
      • Drawing from my limited knowledge of "exotic" products in the real world, aren't there special types of wine, cheese, plants, etc. that are considered "exotic" no matter where you are, including where they're made? It's possible for exotic to include hard-to-find or hard-to-make products. JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 20:06, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
        • Well, I have a very limited knowlege about stuff in the real world, but you could be right since I'm going by an internet defination of exotic :D, I don't really mind, If we know what planets it's made on could we just put that on instead... do we know what planets it's made on? - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 20:11, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
          • Not to my knowledge - part of its "exoticness", eh? Although, the article does state that there's over 8 planets that produce it, and the removal of those 8 planets (by way of vongshaping) drastically made it harder to acquire; if the amount of planets that produced it were doubled (16 total) just as a rough estimate, that is a very small amount of planets in the galaxy (based on List of planets) that are producers. JorrelWiki-shrinkableFraajic 20:18, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
            • Yeh, I guess it would be pretty difficult to find out, I've only read one of the books in the apperances and I'm currently reading one of the others and it doesn't say (so far) in them, it might not even be mentoined, ever. Maybe when I'm older I'll write a book about it (wildest dreams). Any way I'm ok with it being exotic, if anybody does find out were it's from could they say, thanks. - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 20:26, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Origin of habits?[]

Has it been stated anywhere where Luke picked up the habit? I was just thinking that from a sets-as-canon perspective, it would make sense for him to have first had hot chocolate on Yavin 4. (Yavin 4 was portrayed in ANH by the Mayan city of Tikal, and the Mayans were one of the first cultivars of cacao.) Taper 20:45, July 25, 2011 (UTC)

  • I think I read somewhere that Lando introduced Luke to it. I don't remember where, though, so I could be mistaken. Can anybody verify that? Jedimasterjsa 05:18, August 14, 2011 (UTC)
