Trained by who? Edit
Ion team didn't seem Mandalorian really like Omega... maybe their trainer was one of the 25 non-Mandalorian Commando trainers Fett recruited? I know different writers is the real reason but how else this can be explained in-universe? Woorloog 10:53, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Why are they a team, and not a squad?
- Not all commandos were trained by the mercs in the books. There were many different trainers, some were not mandalorian.
- In the U.S military a team is 4-8 soldiers, or marines. A squad is at least two teams. The writers drew from real world military. To say they are a team is accurate.--22.214.171.124 03:18, January 14, 2014 (UTC)
Their fate Edit
What happened to them? Where they executed? Or were they simply imprisoned?
where can i find pictures of Ion Team?
- They were in a novel. I doubt there were any pictures of them.--126.96.36.199 03:12, January 14, 2014 (UTC)
- As far as their fate. It should be noted on this wiki that they were identical to the troops sent after them, but much better trained, and the commandos most likely killed two of their pursuers, used the bodies to fake their deaths, and escaped.--188.8.131.52 03:12, January 14, 2014 (UTC)
Odd Wording Edit
The last paragraph contains the sentence, "Vader ordered his men to hunt the commandos down and return them to him alive, which was accomplished, even though the bodies were supposedly never found, as reported to Vader by a clone shock trooper just after he decapitated Bol Chatak."
This should be split up in to more sentences, so as to clarify the sentences. Vader ordered his men to hunt the commandos down and bring them back alive. How was this accomplished if the bodies were never found? How could one say they'd brought anyone back alive or dead, if the bodies were never found? A clone shock trooper reported to Vader after Vader decapitated Bol Chatak? Or did Bol Chatak get decapitated by the shock trooper that reported to Vader?
