Nitpick: The charm Anakin gave her wasn't a japor snippet. Rather, it was carved out of a snippet of japor. So the title should probably be changed. -LtNOWIS 02:41, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

          • Okay, so maybe that was a little harsh. But really, c'mon! Add to this the fact that in the Visual Dictionaries I do believe it is referred to as the "japor snippet". Cutch 18:46, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Fact CheckEdit

  • Two things: Where did Amidala give Obi-Wan the japor snippit? I know it wasn't done in the movie, and I think I might have seen it in an earlier version of the script, but is there an actual canon source for this, such as one of the novelizations or a comic book? Also, where does it state that Amidala was cremated? I've seen it stated in a few articles, but not her own, and it is never sourced. AngelQueen 14:48, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
    • I expect it refers to Padme giving Obi-wan "Something that looked like a necklace" in a hologram of her death in Dark Nest III: The Swarm War, with your other question I would agree with Officia The Greatest Jedi In The Game who replied on Padme's talk page - Kingpin13Cantina Battle Ground 15:48, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
  • She gave it to him in the ROTS novel. I misplaced my copy, but there's a comment roughly along these lines, (someone please verify the exact wording) Kenobi: "She gave me this, and I don't even know what it is."

Yoda: "Perhaps buried with her, it should be". 22:18, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

Clean upEdit

I just gave this article a bit of a clean up, with some reformatting and additional context. It's still missing a source, which I don't know, in the first paragraph. If anyone could help, that would be appreciated.

Also, since there wasn't room for the second image from TPM, it's no longer there. That said, the image is of much higher quality than the current one. Any opinions of which of the following should be the main image?

File:Ep3 necklace padme.jpg|Current image File:Japor.jpg|Better quality

I'd still say go with the current one, provided someone can re-upload it with better quality. - Brandon Rhea 15px (talk) 17:47, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
