That's it?!?[edit source]

Come on, CW and Rebels give more info on Jedi than this page lists...I'd expand it, but right now, I have enough on my plate, besides, moderators will argue with it anyway...--92.114.148.141 17:32, December 4, 2015 (UTC)

  • Be bold! If the information is well-written and accurate, no one will argue it. And remember, we all have a lot on our plate. Not every page on Wookieepedia is going to be complete. - Brandon Rhea(talk) 17:37, December 4, 2015 (UTC)

Edit request 1[edit source]

Due to some person protecting the article to prevent editing, I can't add *{{Rebels|Secret Cargo}} to the 'Appearances' section, can someone do it please? --The 178th Legion 23:21, February 26, 2017 (UTC)

Bump. --The 178th Legion 22:32, February 28, 2017 (UTC)

Edit request 2[edit source]

Due to some person protecting the article to prevent editing, I can't add *{{Rebels|Double Agent Droid}} to the 'Appearances' section, can someone do it please? --The 79th Legion 00:50, March 11, 2017 (UTC)

Jedi Order[edit source]

A somewhat similar point has been readdressed on Luke Skywalker's Jedi so I figured I would bring this up here as well. What exactly is the precedent for Jedi and Jedi Order being separate articles? I understand one refers to individuals while the other the institution, but is this a necessary distinction on the wiki? Why, for example, is such a distinction not made for the Sith? Is there canon sourcing for this? Though I'm sure the wiki policies are different, look to the Star Wars Rebels Wiki to see how it handles the Jedi article; why is it that we not follow something similar here on Wookieepedia? I think that the articles Jedi and Jedi Order could be merged as they are essentially both about the same topic: the Jedi. Thanks. Reddyredcp (talk) 02:43, January 29, 2018 (UTC)

I would like to add a ceremony as the funeral pyre

List[edit source]

What about a list of all jedi individuals on this page? I'm working on a list of jedi privately anyways and since seperate list articles aren't allowed here I think this would be a good idea. This would be done just like it is on the Senator page. CanePlayz (talk) 17:51, January 15, 2020 (UTC)

  • I don't think that would be necessary. There's already a category for that. Jaewade (talk) 18:01, January 15, 2020 (UTC)
    • But a list has many advantages such as canon-legends difference, no sub categories (everything with one look), cleaner design and additional information besides the name. CanePlayz (talk) 18:09, January 15, 2020 (UTC)
      • Anyone else here who wants to allow or forbid it? Maybe an admin? CanePlayz (talk) 20:34, January 15, 2020 (UTC)
        • Probably at this point its better for you if you stick with the back up idea of just doing it on your user page or a workbench. But we should be consistent either way, so either we do them or we don't. If we decide no then the one on the senator pages should be removed --Lewisr (talk) 20:38, January 15, 2020 (UTC)
          • Yup, that's correct. But I don't think there are real arguments to delete the senator one because it exists for quite a long time now and like no one has complained about it yet. And I know, maybe the admnis won't allow that as well, but it's worth a shot and has some solid arguments behind it. CanePlayz (talk) 20:47, January 15, 2020 (UTC)
            • If we don't do one on this page, then really we have no choice but to remove the senator one, what argument could be made to keep that one if we don't add one here? --Lewisr (talk) 20:57, January 15, 2020 (UTC)
              • Yes, that's why I think it's just logic to make one here. No one complains about the senator one -> correct -> correct to do one here as well. Of course, if they see my messages here and decide that the Senator one was wrong the whole time, then one here won't be right as well, but at the moment I see ignoring the other one as a sign of it being accepted. CanePlayz (talk) 21:03, January 15, 2020 (UTC)
                • When you first asked about whether you could make the list on Jedi, I did mention it on the IRC channel that there was one on the senator pages already, and it was said that it shouldn't have been there before. I see your point though, I guess the ones on senator lasted longer because it managed to slip notice --Lewisr (talk) 21:12, January 15, 2020 (UTC)
                  • Oh ok. That's what I was afraid of since the beginning. That it just slipped notice. Well, then the list on this article will be out of the room as soon as they actually delete the one ln the senator page. Guess that was my last shot. xD Then I'll just release mine on reddit for users and let go of one here.
                    • Sorry that its not the answer you hoped for! You can still make a list on your user page though, or through a workbench. Not ideal I know but its the best alternative I can offer you with it still being on the site, but ultimately its your choice on what you want to do --Lewisr (talk) 21:24, January 15, 2020 (UTC)
                      • You don't have to say sorry. It's not your mistake in any way. Also, after all that happened, I knew how low the chances would be for this to happen, with the senator situation I just saw a little hope. I'll continue on my private list and maybe upload it as well here on a user page if I don't here anything in this discussion from an admin. Again, thanks a lot for your engagement. See you soon.
