Title[]

Hmm they certainly look the same. But which one would be the proper title? KM1 or Mark 1? Omicron 23:42, February 4, 2010 (UTC)

Well I would rather go with KM1 Mining Droid with Mining Droid Mark 1 as a redirect to it because the KM1 has specific sources for the KM1, not a Mark 1.

But they each come from two different sources, and share almost no similarities based on the info found in each article. The only similarities I found are 1)their physical appearance and designed purpose 2)they worked at the Peragus Mining Facility during the Old Republic. Here is a near perfect similar example: R-series astromech droids. They were very common and it was not rare to find different models with the same dome-head design (example- the the R2 and R3 series and many R4 units had domed heads). I'm against this merge because I can't see why there should be one, but am still open to other arguments that may change my opinion. --Darth Shohet 03:45, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

It's be funny if it turned out the "KM1" was a typo, and it's actually "MK1", ie "Mark 1". Dangerdan97 05:20, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

  • I'm going to say we should go ahead and merge them. There appears, in the KotOR and TSL games some information about these that overlap other than the Peragus connection (which is a phantom connection). These include, among other things, the number of laser cutters, the purpose, the shield, etc. There seems to be enough to support them as one other than mere looks. Considering the nature of the games and how they were constructed back-to-back, I feel strongly that we can say these are the same unless a source proves definitively otherwise. • I think that they should be merged, but which one is correct? This page,(KM1 mining droid) is much better when it comes to quality, but is the name correct? I think it may be, because it's mentioned in a source other than KotOR II. I say merge them into this article. Holocron Greatholocron (Complain) 03:41, September 5, 2010 (UTC)
    • I merged the articles, there was no reason visible to me why they should stay seperate when they obviously discuss the same droid. Holocron Greatholocron (Complain) 13:36, September 8, 2010 (UTC)

Shouldn't thier apperance be in The Sith Lords not the first game.--Fuzz 04:01, March 26, 2011 (UTC)
