Mandal motors and these shipsEdit
I know that comments made by authors and artists are usually considered official, but this doesn't come forth as a statement made by Dustin Weaver - but an offhand comment. Sources say that MandalMotors didn't exist during this era, and the campaign guide says that it's not a part of a product run, but built from stolen technology. Also says "In later times, with the Mandalorians scattered, their technologies resurface in more traditional corporate bodies such as MandalMotors." SarimThiri 02:54, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
- Sounds reasonable. VT-16 07:52, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
The ship's name meaning revisionEdit
The word Kandosii can mean both indomitable and ruthless, but in the CG it was specifically stated that it was supposed to be translated as the latter. So I'm changing that as it is mentioned in the guide. Gratulor - User Page 06:53, December 22, 2009 (UTC)
Saga Edition Star wars Saga edition posts 5 6 gun batteries of turbolasers 2 6 gun batteries of triple laser cannons 2 6 launcher batteries of Super heavy concussion missiles and 2 3 gun batteries of tractor beams. now as per the way star wars saga edition was designed and written all weapon numbers were halved to compensate for the rpg not using facing. so the 5 6 gun turbolaser batteries comes out to 60 (30 turbolasers then doubled to remove the halving) 24 triple laser cannons 24 superheavy concussion missiles and 12 tractor beams. the 5 turbolaser batteries are the same number as the system used for the imperial class which in the rpg editions had 60 medium turbolasers halved to 30 then divided up into 5 6 gun batteries.
Armament and KOTOR Campaign Guide Edit
EDIT: In response to the recent change which is about to be pushed over into edit warring...
The rules for the KOTOR campaign guide are designed for dice rolls, and how one plays mechanics in a game does not correlate to the armament of the vessel. We do not have numbers beyond the KOTOR campaign guide and what can visually be deduced from the KOTOR Comics Days of Fear and Nights of Anger (which shows approximately 6 Concussion Missile Launchers but I digress). Multiplying the number of turrets by the number of gunners is purely a game mechanic, and doing that for say, the Hammerhead-class would completely defy its visual armament in Knights of the Old Republic, for example, as the ship would then have something like 40 Dual light turbolasers (I'd have to check the details).
Therefore it is most accurate to accept the number at face value, and not consider the gameplay mechanics which are just that - gameplay mechanics, not official stats. Anything more is fanon. Eudoxia (talk) 03:22, June 21, 2019 (UTC)
