FN Corps[]

Couldn't this actually be the FN Corps? FN-2199 is part of the Corps and he's listed as a member of this division, and the fact that he recognizes Finn because they were both in the FN Corps also suggests that this division and the corps are one and the same.--Vitus InfinitusTalk 18:19, August 7, 2018 (UTC)

  • That or Kylo Ren's division could be a sub-unit of the overall FN Corps. Assuming we don't merge this article with FN Corps, I think a better name for this article would be Kylo Ren's division, given that the current title is already conjectural. JRT2010 (talk) 19:30, August 7, 2018 (UTC)
    • Almost forgot, but TK-338 was part of Kylo Ren's division, which means that the unit wasn't solely composed of troopers from the FN Corps. JRT2010 (talk) 19:38, August 7, 2018 (UTC)
      • I would agree on changing the name, as that is more specific imo.--Vitus InfinitusTalk 20:22, August 7, 2018 (UTC)
        • I also agree, Kylo Ren's division its a better name,--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 20:25, August 7, 2018 (UTC)

Kylo's?[]

Why exactly is this referred to as Kylo's division? Phasma's databank refers to the stormtroopers on Jakku as her legion or her stormtroopers, what exactly is referring to this as Kylo's personal force of stormtroopers? And what exactly says those on Jakku are the same on Takodana? --Lewisr (talk) 18:42, February 28, 2019 (UTC)

  • Hello. RC-0407 (talk) here. We know for a fact that Kylo/Ben had full authority over this division, around the time of the battle at Maz Kanata's castle.
    1. We do not know how this happened. He may simply have taking command of the unit. Or perhaps he was given command. A third option is that this division was assigned to ground assault on Takodana Castle. Which is part of Kylo Ren's far larger mission to find and eliminate Luke Skywalker. All three theories are subjective. Jedi general Pong Krell of the Galactic Republic once took command of the 501st legion. From that day on, until his untimely demise, was it this his unit. Even though he was not the assigned commander. To sum up my argument:Kylo Ren had a mission. And this division fell under his command, during the later part of the that mission. A unit becomes someone's when they work under the supervision of a commanding officer.
    2. Your second subject is about that the same division was taking part in the two raids.(Jakku and Takodana) The connection between the two raids is colleagues. The treacherous Finn served with a unit in the former raid. In the book named 'Before the Awakening' learned we that he belonged to a unit with FN-2003. It's the guy who facepalms Finn as he died in the middle of the raid. There was two other stormtroopers in the group. (FN-2000 and FN-2199) The later is the guy nicknamed 'TR-8R' by fans. This trooper fought on Takodana. This trooper is part of the division. And was commanded by the same lightsaber wielding maniac named Kylo Ren. Goodbye. 21 Match in 2019.
    • Okay I can somewhat except why he is a commanding officer, but still think it shouldn't be named as his personal division of stormtroopers when nothing says it. But I'm still not sold on why we're saying its the same group at both places. Nothing says that FN-2000 or FN-2199 took part at Jakku so your point about colleagues is pretty invalid really, I don't see much to confirm its the same group --Lewisr (talk) 20:16, March 21, 2019 (UTC)
