When/where was this title announced? Comic-con, I guess? Not that I disbelieve it, just curious. - Breathesgelatin 22:26, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

    • Comic Con. Jedi Dude 22:27, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

When someone types Inferno into the search box, won't they most likely be looking for the book, not the starship? Shouldn't typing "Inferno" into the search bring up this page instead of the starship? Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

Wow, that looks so much like Mustafar Edit

I really love that cover.

Hey, I know what happens next, Luke fights Jacen on one of those lava banks and cuts his legs and arms off, and then Darth Caedus gets armour just like Vader! Wow, wouldn't that be cool?

I also love how Luke is wearing a blaster on his belt, even though he can remove himself from the Force and use an unblockable-attack that kills instantly.

Hmm, all we need now is a Mace Windu rip-off and this series would be set.

How about retconning Lando Calrissian as a Jedi Master? Luke could train Lando for about a year, and y'know, skip all the other important traditional stuff like wearing robes, and then, hey!, Lando could be like all the rest of the NJO Jedi!

  • Where did that come from? I smell fanon. I'm reverting for the moment. - breathesgelatinTalk 19:48, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
  • You mean there is stuff on the internet that is false? My life is shattered...seriously, though I am grateful that the summary was false...had me worried that Jacen was going to be axed by the end of the series. -- SFH 22:46, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
  • I didn't see her say it was false. All Estoni said was that she'd had problems with getting past problems on Amazon fixed; she didn't mention the Inferno spoiler at all. Someone should ask her for that. Kuralyov 02:37, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
    • I see that you've already asked. We'll see I guess. - breathesgelatinTalk 03:16, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
      • No one's denounced it as false yet and it's certainly well known. It should be mentioned here at least. Kuralyov 02:43, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
        • Come on though--the thing is full of typos. Do you really think LFL would release such a thing? It's not on the publisher site or any other official site. - breathesgelatinTalk 05:27, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
          • My opinion of LFL and its editing staff is low enough that they could misspell "Star Wars" and it wouldn't surprise me. Kuralyov 15:28, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
  • so was it boulderdash or just a spoiler that spilled nothing early? i hope its true i'm actually willing to handle Exile with a lil bit less disdain than originally planned after that sleeper of a preview.(i mean after the preview of tempest that was pretty sloooow!) i really want Mara Jade to bite it, she's just so rough. and that bit about luke forming a rebellion sounded great. Darth Depressis
  • I really think the spoiler should be re-added. We still have not had anyone at LFL say it was fake. Kuralyov 01:08, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Okay, after reading the Sacrifice spoilers, it's pretty clear that the Inferno summary was legit. Kuralyov 04:13, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
      • Yeah, based on events in Sacrifice, it seems fairly reasonable summary of the next book really. QuentinGeorge 04:15, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

yea the book does sound really intense. Unsigned comment by Darth Revanon (talk • contribs).

  • um...*glances at text* *glances at full synopsis* ...I SERIOUSLY want to know whoever posted the leaked piece on Amazon now. Firebird 15:57, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

Book Cover Edit

  • Has it been revealed whether or not Jacen will appear on the cover? DarthMalus 17:45, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Luke Skywalker is on the cover.Darth Revanon 6:51, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

Cover Edit

On the main Inferno page is that the actual cover Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

  • Doubt it. And please sign your talk sentences. Unit 8311 20:22, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
    • If that's the actual cover, I'm shooting myself with a DH-44. TheNewDarthMalevlent(The Sith shall rise to power!) 14:06, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
      • Come on people. Just read the cover (which says "For solicitation only" or read the "First look" blurb, which talks about the real cover being "too hot to handle" or whatever. This is just a fake cover because the real one is evidently spoilerish. - breathesgelatinTalk 21:03, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
        • Still, that cover is awesome! Here's to Luke Skywalker! May he slay Jacen, Lumiya, Tenel Ka, and any other kriffin' fools who screw up the Galaxy! Chack Jadson 14:58, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

I think that the Book cover will Have Jaina on the Cover. Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

I hope Jaina is pn the cover also- AL Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

what did tenel ka do, eh?

Characters Edit

How do we know Ben, Lumiya, and Jaina are going to be in Inferno? All we know is that Jacen will be in it and some characters in Tempest will possibly be in it. --Darthchristian (Hey!) 20:44, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

  • Agreed. I don't think there's been any official confirmation. -LtNOWIS 01:44, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

People keep adding and removing characters. Seems like it'd be better to remove the section until there's something official. -Fnlayson 03:12, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Well, there are a few people you know will be in there. Luke Skywalker will be in there, as before they started writing these, they announced this would describe Luke, Jacen, and Ben specifically. Basically, these three must be in all the books. TheNewDarthMalevlent(The Sith shall rise to power!) 13:26, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
    • If that were true, than there wouldn't be all this speculation about Luke dying. -LtNOWIS 22:50, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
      • Yep. They may kill him (and if they do, it would be crime far worse than anything they have done so far). Chack Jadson 22:56, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

yea that is so true. luke cannot dye.Darth Revanon 8:20, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

but wat do you guys think will happen to Luke. It looks to me like hes in serious trouble on the cover of this book.Darth Revanon 8:20, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

listen up everyone its only 3 days until Inferno comes out and we all need 2 update the list so im asking everyone for help in updating it please. Unsigned comment by Darth Revanon (talk • contribs).

Kashyyyk Edit

I just looked at the new cover for Inferno today, is it just me or is that Kashyyyk in the background? Those treehouses look an awful lot like houses on Kashyyyk--Jedi Kasra 03:25, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

  • I think it is. Chack Jadson 16:02, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
  • That would be really cool if it is Kashyyyk, I just hope that Lowbacca is featured as one of the main characters of the book, since we are dealing with Lowie's homeworld here.--Jedi Kasra 21:28, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
  • It most likely is Kashyyyk, only other place I can think of that it could be is Endor. Cyberstrike2000x 23:11, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
  • It actually resembles more like an Ewok hut don't you think? Maybe a little visit to Endor?:PMathieu121 20:08, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
    • Nah. It looks like a hut from the Holiday Special (which is on Kashyyyk). Chack Jadson 23:45, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
      • Ha! Maybe the Endor Holocaust really did happen, considering the lava. --Darthchristian (Hey!) 2:06, June 5 2007 (UTC)
    • Good eye. I think it's definitely Kashyyk. Well, Troy Denning is known to love the Young Jedi Knights characters, so I wouldn't be surprised if Lowbacca does figure in some way, seeing as it is his homeworld. I'd also like to see the Lumpy/Waroo storyline given some closure as well. - breathesgelatinTalk 20:41, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

can we all just agree that its Kashyyyk please?? Darth Revanon 8:20, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

i know that no one was argueing but we all need 2 agree on somthing dont we???Darth Revanon 7:37, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

watever. i believe that thats defonitly Kashyyyk. thats defonitly a Wookie hut in the backround. Unsigned comment by Darth Revanon (talk • contribs).

I actually think the background features the planet of Mandalore, as Keldabe was built in the city's treetops. I think we'll be seeing a rogue alliance of the Jedi and Mandalorians against Jacen's tyrannical Alliance and the Confederacy. Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

Yea But to ,me Mandolore is more like a city with technology, unlike this pic. and it would make nuch more sense if it was Kashyyyk in case Lowbacca comes back, and Kashyyyk has suffered a lot of damage in every war so y should this war be any different?? Unsigned comment by Darth Revanon (talk • contribs).

  • If theres one thing Legacy has shown us, prior patterns aren't worth a thing. Psythe 2:59, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
  • Well another thing that the Legact era does show us is that its repeating alittle bit of the same of the stuff that went on in the first 3 films so we may even expect a new empire. u never know.Darth Revanon 2:59, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Maybe, but repeating the films isn't particularly unique from a writer's perspective. Psythe 15:41, 9 July 2007

and how do u know?? are u a writer?? there already repeating stuff cuz if they werent then Jacen wouldnt be making the same mistakes as his grandfather did.Darth Revanon 9 July 2007 (UTC)

  • Drawing parallels isn't the same as repeating the films. Psythe

Cover Question Edit

Is that Luke or Jacen on the cover ? Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

  • It's Luke. That's his lightsaber from R.O.T.J. Plus, it looks like Luke from the back of the cover from Sacrifice. Unless it's another clone of Luke. No, I'm just kidding.--Jedi Kasra 03:54, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

yea that would be funny if it was a clone. thank goodness its not though. Unsigned comment by Darth Revanon (talk • contribs).

  • I know this isn't relevant to this discussion, but please sign you name when making a comment.--Jedi Kasra 01:09, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

oh sorry that was mine up there .--Darth Revanon 10:31, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

Your welcome. Now back to the discussion at hand, thats luke because they already had Jacen on the cover and i dont they would do it again.--Darth Revanon 8:31, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

New Info Edit

Got this of a forum talking about what is in Star Wars Insider 95 (new info in Inferno). maybe this could somehow be in this article.Mathieu121 15:38, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

  1. The galaxy goes to war: "fleets from Corellia, Bothawui, Hutt Space, and Commenor are moving on the Core Worlds, hoping for a decisive battle with the forces of Coruscant."
  1. Jacen tries to get the Hapan fleet from Tenel Ka. She allows it, with the condition that "Jacen makes his peace with Luke."
  1. Ben is suspicious of Jacen. He has to make a tough choice.
  1. That's Kashyyyk on the cover, as suspected. There will be a confrontation there.
  1. Threepio has "a brush with mortality."
  1. Saba confronts Jacen. Han and Leia make their "final break with Jacen."
  1. Jacen talks in his sleep, and has a security droid called SD-XX.
  1. Leia fights an Ewok. (I'm assuming Tarfang.)
  1. Denning is trying to put tension into the book, though he also tried to balance it with some humor. About him writing the final LotF novel: "I'm going to enjoy having the last word."
  • Can you provide a link to the forum? I don't have Star Wars Insider. Darthchristian 16:23, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

It has been posted and re-posted here and there online. You can find it at tf.n, on the Literature forum.SithGirl132 02:52, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Dramatis Personae question Edit

Jecan did give himself the title of Darth Caedus, right? If so, why is he not listed in the dramatis personae?--The K.O. King 19:44, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

  • Becaused the official DP (ie, the one from the book) lists him as Jacen Solo. So quit changing it, everyone. QuentinGeorge 21:04, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

By the way, do we need to have that extensive list of "other characters" below the Dramatis Personae? I really don't think that characters like Palpatine and Darth Vader need to be listed for every novel they're given a passing mention Lalala la 03:56, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

  • I feel it's best to be really thorough. Kaje 04:24, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

Spoilers are already coming out, notably here. Exercise caution. QuentinGeorge 07:04, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

    • Yeah, but I'm a bit surprised that some facts here haven't been changed. Release 28 of August and with 416 pages? Isn't that on Tuesday next week, or else something is wierd with me already having the book. (I know that Sweden is behind in everything released in games and so on) So can I ask something sincere. Is this book released in the US this day, 24:th of August?Gotipe 16:26, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Just good Edit

Inferno is an impressive novel. But yet it has NO images. I tried to find White Eyes images or just a image. Nothing. I tried to find an other way to improve White Eyes. NOTHING. This article reminds me of the Adas Mystery. Months ago I tried to improve Adas. But NOTHING. Hope to see more images in the futute and not in the... Oldone very future. George Skywalker 08:48, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

  • Were you expecting official images to come from the novel or something? —Xwing328(Talk) 15:56, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Your problem is hardly original. Welcome to the EU...--DawnStrike 22:17, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Where the PHRIK are the Mando'ade? Is Karen Traviss the only one smart enough to write about them, or what?!?!

karan traviss has done most with Mandos and Mando'a so other writers are probably a not as knowledggabl about mando culture b scared of traviss and mucking it uponly a suggestion. 9 book series they have to be invinclble--Darthaleriya 18:19, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

Allana~spoiler Edit

Where is her double jacen used to help kidnap her?Meesa yoda 21:51, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

tika the coruscanti orphan? shrug, possibly either transport her to 0,0 or keep her on hapes--Darthaleriya 18:20, November 18, 2009 (UTC)
