This entry is flawed... Edit

According to her own words, Juhani was supposed to be young when she met Revan, so it makes little sense that Taris would be retaken near the end of The Mandalorian Wars. That would mean that she did an awful lot of aging in four years. ;) Furthermore, late in the war (after finding Malachor V) Revan had already fallen to the DS and probably would not care about releasing slaves in the least. It seems far more likely that Taris was liberated by the Republic early in the war and the Jedi did a little house cleaning while they were there... --Sentry 08:08, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

  • According to this, there would only be 6 years since this battle and when Revan met Juhani again. We have no idea how old Juhani is, but if she were 18 in the game, that would make her becoming a Jedi at 12. Would the Jedi have accepted her at such a late age? There is also speculation as to when Revan fell. I think her/him freeing slaves is a sign she/he hadn't fallen yet. --Riansage 21:31, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
    • There are plenty of Jedi in the old era who weren't trained until being older. Kuralyov 21:36, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
      • The dating of this event, like virtually all of the Mandalorian Wars battles, is entirely conjectural - that was my only point. I just happen to think that the fanon timeline placement of this event is even less supported by authoratative evidence than most...--Sentry 06:23, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
        • Apparently, this battle is going to be featured in the next KOTOR issue, so its timing would be pushed back 3 years. Kuralyov 03:38, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

Juhani freed? Edit

In KOTOR, Juhani never said that Revan personally freed her. It was a female Jedi under the leadership of Revan.

  • Can you provide a quote? I don't remember that at all... I'm pretty certain that Juhani states that it was Revan. If your Revan was a female Jedi, she was talking about her.--Sentry 06:36, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

"How... how can you possibly be Revan? The one... the Jedi whose troops saved me on Taris... It was Revan, leading an army out to defeat the Mandalorians. It was you... " Granted this is for a male Revan, but isn't a male Revan canon? Teri3501 00:08, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Renaming Edit

This article really should be renamed "Second Battle of Taris" instead of "Battle of Taris (Mandalorian Wars)", only the current title doesn't fit with information elsewhere.
