I very much like the new quote that's on Mace Windu's page. The old one sucked

Jackson confirmed a while back that Windu was alive. --Reptile Commander (talk) 12:24, December 4, 2016 (UTC)

  • Jackson doesn't get to decide whether his character is alive or not. SW authors and the Story Group do. And so far, all official sources clearly state Windu is dead. --Lelal Mekha Old Republic military symbol.svg (Audience Room) 12:40, December 4, 2016 (UTC)

1.1 Cleanup[edit source]

Reference 47 is a self-admittedly non-canon source, why is it listed in the canon? Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

  • We've chosen to adopt a canon until proven Legends approach with info from this source. - AV-6R7Crew Pit 06:20, January 24, 2017 (UTC)

Alive[edit source]

I read the comment above about him not being alive, due to the story group, but if you heard, Jackson confirmed at Star Wars Celebration that he was alive. And seeing as how it was not a Live video and the employees couldn't have stopped him if it were, there is substantial evidence that the video and speech were confirmed by the story group. But until we see anything definite, saying "Windu is Alive, Confirmed by Disney", then we should probably hold off. --Metalworker14 (talk) 13:50, May 9, 2017 (UTC)

  • Again as stated above, Samuel Jackson doesn't get to decide if he is alive or not and all sources state he is dead. It's more of Samuel Jackson pitching a film so he can come back to Star Wars --Lewisr (talk) 13:55, May 9, 2017 (UTC)

Image replacement[edit source]

This would be better at "Windu warned Palpatine...":

Could someone add this:

Lightsaber[edit source]

I see the page has a red link for the lightsaber Mace has in Jedi of the Republic—Mace Windu, Part IV, I'm not sure it is supposed to be a new one. Star Wars Lightsabers: A Guide to Weapons of the Force says that he carried several lightsabers, but his last was the most remarkable as it took on a purple hue, that would suggest he hasn't had any other purple lightsabers before. And as far as I'm aware no sources make mention of him owning another purple one before the one we see in AOTC and beyond --Lewisr (talk) 21:11, June 23, 2018 (UTC)

  • According to Ultimate Star Wars, the lightsaber Windu wielded in the prequels was created after he became a member of the Jedi High Council. I don't have the source with me, so I can't confirm it but I took that part of the article in good faith since it was sourced. JRT2010 (talk) 21:25, June 23, 2018 (UTC)
    • Not sure what to say then, maybe the people involved with the comic weren't aware of what the reference books say and probably just put it in, bit of assumption I know but mistakes happen and at least one other mistake happened in the series that was missed (e.g. the Jedi High Council being inconsistent and incorrect with Yarael Poof being there in issue 5, Shaak Ti being in there in issue 1 but someone completely different in her seat in issue 5) so its possible this was just missed as well --Lewisr (talk) 21:40, June 23, 2018 (UTC)
      • I don't think the Lightsabers book can directly imply that only the last one was purple. The Notes section feels more like it was a bullet list since there's no much connection in the paragraph and probably could mean that it was most remarkable the last one for using decoration used only by Council members as the same book says--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 21:47, June 23, 2018 (UTC)
        • But why if he had a purple one before would the last one being purple be remarkable? --Lewisr (talk) 22:09, June 23, 2018 (UTC)
          • The book doesn't specifically mention that it was remarable for being purple. It mentions that it was remarkable then there's a "." which I think its not about continuation since they feel more like bullet points in Mace's case. Could be wrong, but the mention that it was made with decoration only used by senior Council members could be the thing remarkable--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 22:14, June 23, 2018 (UTC)
            • The decoration thing is mentioned on the page before whereas it being purple after he bonded with his crystal is mentioned right after. Just because there's a . doesn't mean the next sentence isn't a continuation --Lewisr (talk) 22:28, June 23, 2018 (UTC)
              • Just saying my opinion, I don't feel both sentences are about the same as how the midsection thing is not connected to Jango Fett thing. Anyways Ultimate Star Wars does confirms that he had the purple crystal even before creating his Council decorated lighsaber--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 22:34, June 23, 2018 (UTC)
  • Sorry to bring this up again, but Age of Republic Special 1 shows Mace constructing his lightsaber as a youngling with Huyang, and its the one from the prequels --Lewisr (talk) 04:50, March 20, 2019 (UTC)

Force ghost[edit source]

Are voices in TROS that Rey heard considered Force ghosts? --Goodmind (talk) 09:15, December 22, 2019 (UTC)

Weirdness in Behind the Scenes section[edit source]

"Jackson expressed interest in reprising his role in the 2015 film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, opining that he could return as a Force spirit given Windu's death in Revenge of the Sith.[73] After appearing in the finished film, Jackson further expressed his interest in playing Windu again in the Star Wars Anthology Series, insisting that Windu may have survived."

What? These sentences make no sense back to back.
