Ambig CanonEdit

A decree has not been issued one way or another by LFL. This item, having been developed by LFL, could potentially be canon, whether we like it or not. SinisterSamurai 18:41, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

  • They are not calling it bonus "content." It's a game "skin," which is really no different than a game mod, correct? That would make it non-canon. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 19:08, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
    • There's a difference between a 3rd party mod and a promotional exclusive. I believe official DLC (like the space station in KOTOR I) and expansions are generally considered canon, but those are essentially mods as well. Maulkiller is an official LFL, LA-created Star Wars product. And while game mechanics (like switching skins) is non-canon, often times individual item descriptions are considered as providing canon information. Occasionally, descriptions are based on information that is obviously non-canon, like the General Starkiller or Super-Cyborg skins from TFU I. Deak Starkiller skin, for example, has already been declared to simply be a representation of an old concept. Maulkiller, has been given a self-contained story that fits within the confines of the established canon, and doesn't contradict anything, near as I can tell. PC Version Edit

As can be seen on the PC version on the GameStop website (http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=78238), it doesn't include Maulkiller (at least as a preorder bonus). As far as I can tell by browsing their website, only the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions come with it. (Sorry, forgot to sign this yesterday Nighthawk205 12:12, July 28, 2010 (UTC))

CreationEdit

Er, can we really say he was "created by DV."? Maybe a better wording would be "created at the order of." Corellian PremierAll along the watchtower 03:00, January 27, 2011 (UTC)

  • Unless I miss my guess, the original narrative (which I can't seem to find now that the game is out) suggested he was created by Vader. Not created at the order of Vader. SinisterSamurai 18:36, January 27, 2011 (UTC)

Re: External linksEdit

The link to the website no longer includes the information about the pre-order. So should we delete them or see if it is archived on the wayback machine? Corellian PremierRobotechAll along the watchtower 17:22, December 15, 2011 (UTC)
