Shot down?

Just to clarify, did we actually see Simms get killed? --JMM 18:19, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Actually, no. I don't know why it was put there. MoffRebus 21:09, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Simms as Blue Leader at Endor

In the 3rd edition of A Guide to the Star Wars Universe, Merrick Simms is said to have been Blue Leader in the Battle of Endor, and it mentions his death as told in the ROTJ novelization. I've added this to the article. --JMM 17:18, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

RA I and II

I have the Rebel Assault II Credits here, and I see a Captain Merrick: Roy Conrad, so he was in both.

Canon Yavin

If the trench run from Rebel Assault is non-canon, and they've introduced Green squadron at Yavin, is Blue squadron and Merrick's entire involvement not canon? User:1705jallen

We don't know yet. Perhaps not MoffRebus 16:54, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
It's still canon. The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia says he was "the commander of Blue Squadron during the Battle of Yavin." Green Tentacle (Talk) 17:00, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
