A species?[]

Just where in the comic is it stated that they are a separate species? For all we know, they are Humans with special Force training (or something similar). Commander Daal Imperial Emblem 09:10, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

  • The current Behind the scenes text points out a discrepancy between two reference works, one stating that mind-witches are human, and the other that "mind-witch" is its own species. It follows this up to state, "S'ybll's long life and unique ability to drain energy from individuals to maintain her youth would seem to imply that" the latter explanation is correct. This is speculative at best, and the reasoning is not even particularly rigorous: why couldn't a human's supernatural powers bestow these abilities? (For that matter, we have only S'ybll's word that she's had a long life, and she has consistently proven herself untrustworthy.) If there is no other canonical source supporting either viewpoint, the article should just point out the discrepancy and let the reader draw his or her own conclusions. • Hmm. The user who added the info in question has since departed, so cannot answer this. Therefore, I've edited the section as I described above. Asithol (talk) 22:55, April 17, 2014 (UTC)
